Panxin Express — Restaurant in City of North Tonawanda

Panxin has been my favorite Chinese restaurant for years now. They used to be called Lin BBQ and had table service way back when, but they remodeled after 2020 and just do counter service now, though they still have their tables and booths. Either way, the food has always been delicious and fresh. Genuinely never been disappointed by anything I've gotten here. Usuals in my house are the black pepper chicken, honey chicken, and sweet and sour chicken. (We like a lot of chicken, I guess. The pork and beef are good too!) I have also tried the shrimp with lobster sauce, which I'd never had from any restaurant before, and it was flavorful and had plenty of shrimp. Their online ordering system works remarkably well. You can order through their site and get text message updates when it's being prepared and when it's ready. If you've ordered online with them before and subsequently order on the phone, their system will recognize your number and you'll also get the text updates. Food was delicious. I was surprised at how much my children ate! We also have food allergies, and when we called, the staff was knowledgeable and able to answer any questions we had.

I’ve ordered similar dishes at other establishments where the coating separates from the protein, or the sauce coagulates, or the food is slimy and flavorless/too salty - but our food tonight was none of that. We had crisp chicken, tender beef, veggies were cooked perfectly, with just the right amount of bite. The seasoning was just right for us. My family also liked that we didn’t have to pick out any possibly unwanted veggies from their fried rice, which is so helpful for young children! Plus, portions were so generous for the price. Definitely made for an easy, delicious family meal.

I am so incredibly picky with Chinese food, it's usually at the bottom of my go-to food list, or not on there at all.. yesterday I had a random hankering for it and omg am I glad I found this place!!.. absolutely exceptional, not too greasy, the chicken was perfectly cooked and great quality. The pork egg roll wasn't even in the same stratosphere as the egg rolls you usually get- it was stuffed to the brim and had a perfect crispy shell. I also got a combination platter with sesame tofu and orange chicken, with a side of fried rice. The portions were huge, the price was low, and I got a discount for paying cash 💵 The staff was incredibly friendly and the restaurant was exceptionally clean and inviting.
