Ghost Light Theatre Co — Attraction in City of North Tonawanda

This is a really cool venue. I’m not quite sure how to explain it’s charm. It’s inside of an old church but has been completely transformed with artwork, paint, and a really well thought out stage setup. The performers do not use microphones which makes the setting very intimate and unique

I went to see Sweeney Todd as my first visit. My girlfriend and I have not been able to get the songs out of our head. It’s driving us mad! Much like Todd himself lol. Of the performers Anthony stood out as one of the best with strong vocals and charm. He might have been better suited to play Sweeney because of his projection. Mrs. Lovett was BORN to play this role. The actress was entirely believable. Her expressions, timing, and overall acting were spot on. The singing also extremely impressive. The actress playing Lucy was also a standout. Good timing, body language and like Mrs Lovett, also very funny.

I really really enjoyed the whole experience. I’m not a theater person whatsoever but the venue and the actors previously mentioned really make me want to see something else hosted by Ghost Light.

Very unique very old church turned theatre. It's a mish mash of fixer uppers inside and needs some work however it's definitely a neat place and the whole vibe adds to the production. Saw Frankenstein which was amazing. Several cast members didn't miss a beat. Loved it and will see again. If you have a bad back bring a seat cushion, my back was on fire from sitting on the chairs with little cushion. You can't bring food or drink from snack bar with you into main theatre area which I found a bit aggravating considering it's a two hour show and I didn't want to get up and disturb anyone but was thirsty as hell. Then the line was long. I'd say bring a water in a purse so you have something instead of waiting in line and then having to chug the drink to make it back into the main theatre area....

This little community theater is loaded with extremely talented actors! Don Swartz is a brilliant playwright and they perform many of his works along with classic & beloved plays. I am astounded as to the talent of this man as he often takes the stage to take on some of the roles himself. His portrayal of Scrooge I find delightful and charming. His original Lottie and Bernice plays are side splitting as the ladies convincingly bring these two characters to life. Ghostlight Theatre is a true gem and I hope they continue to entertain us for many...
