Bagel Station Deli — Restaurant in City of Port Jervis

Not impressed. Overall, if you're looking for a decent bagel with cream cheese or butter on a quick stop this is the place. If you want more, maybe search around.

Ordered a bagel with cream cheese, chocolate muffin and a 'big boy' breakfast sandwich. The bagel with cream cheese was fine, bagel was good quality. The muffin was dried out, almost like it had been sitting from the day before. The 'big boy' has 2 eggs, home fries, cheese, sausage, ham and bacon. Got it on a toasted everything bagel that came out burnt. I'll now taste burnt dried garlic for the next couple hours. Asked for salt pepper and ketchup on it and got no salt and no pepper, and the equalivant of a half of a pack of ketchup dolloped in the middle. First time here and ordered the French toast bagel based on the recommended reviews. It was pretty good but not toasted enough. I visited Thursday morning 7/31/25 around 10am, and it apparently was much busier than normal at that time. I'm unsure if there is usually another staff member to accept orders and payment, but during my visit, there was just one guy at the front who seemed to be the owner or manager, and another back in the kitchen area. This was the first time I've noticed this happening, but the person accepting orders and payment was also preparing bagels. And several customers paid cash... So this guy went from handling paper currency to handling bagels. Without gloves. It wasnt going to stop me from eating my food, but I'm sure there are some Karens and overly sanitary people who would be displeased with such...

I miss when this place used to be good. We are NEW Yorkers and a bacon egg and cheese spk is always a must have. The bagel station is such a joke there is more bread then substance the quality of the meat is trash they are cutting every corner possible and it shows in the quality of food my bagels were burnt my friend got the bacon egg and cheese and it was a pure disappointment and disgusting. The bagel station back in the day was the place I would brag to people about and now it’s what people think about when they picture port Jervis which is the stigma I would love for this town to break because it truly is wonderful and unfortunately the bagel station now isn’t changing for the better like the rest of the town instead has gone in reverse.
