TJ’S PIZZA INC — Restaurant in City of Poughkeepsie

I recently had surgery and my mom brought us pizza— I don’t live in Poughkeepsie so in any other circumstance I would have never tried the pizza here. I don’t really eat pizza often it gives me the ick. My kids had a few slices and I finished my daughter’s slice — LET ME TELL YOU I WAS BLOWN AWAY. This pizza is so good!!!! Anyways— I put my kids to bed and when my husband came home around midnight I immediately told him to heat up some pizza that was left over. I went on and on telling him this is the best pizza he’ll ever have while we were waiting. He didn’t believe me— that is until he took that first bite and it was like that scene in the ratatouille movie!!! We both stared at each other and smiled. We had a BBQ chicken slice, a plain slice and a Sicilian. The dough is incredible. So many times I try bbq chicken and the chicken isn’t soft and the flavors don’t compliment each other. This bbq chicken slice was soft - the chxn the dough and the bbq was sweet. Seriously all around such good pizza!!!!! In a very overdue review, I want to express my gratitude for the excellent service that I have received for the last two weeks from TJ's Pizza. THEY have been my saving grace. Because I want to describe the service that I personally received from TJ's Pizza in a parable, I would choose the Good Samaritan parable. And just like the innkeeper Richie took me in and took care of my family's dinner plans.To put it simply, the entire establishment runs like a Swiss clock, clean, swift, and passionate about delivering their best work incessantly.
