Gino’s Pizza & Restaurant — Restaurant in City of Poughkeepsie

This pizza was terrible! Is it even possible to get good pizza in Poughkeepsie? I'll start with the good. My wife and I had never eaten from Gino's before. I checked out the reviews and figured we'd give them a shot. I called and a very pleasant young lady answered the phone. I want to ask if they delivered and if I could pay over the phone. I thanked her and told that I would call be with my order shortly. I called back roughly 10 minutes later. We ordered a large pizza with half grilled chicken and all onion. We also ordered wings well done. The total came to 45 dollars (45.00 for pizza and some wings?) And 8.00 for the tip. I'm now getting ready for what I am hoping is great pizza. As soon as I opened the box, I knew that things were going down hill from there. Get bigger boxes! The pizza was slightly folded over because the box was too small. Two thirds of the crust was brown, the other third was white. Don't ask. The onions were enormous chunks. (A little pizza with my onions please.) The GRILLED chicken was white. The chicken was thrown into a pan with absolutely no seasoning. Now, here comes the good part. What do you think happened when we went to grab a couple of slices? You got it! Most of the topping ended up in the middle of the box. This pizza couldn't have been more bland. Never again! The wings were decent. I'll give them a six. The worst 1st off was charged for Ranch dressing but never received. This was my 1st time trying Gino's pizza. I would not have been so upset about missing ranch and being charged but the pizza I asked to be thin crust fell apart. The pizza needed to be heated because it was no longer warm apon delivery . So when I called to let them know..I got a lecture on how I should order my pizza well done because this happens when ordering thin crust.(funny I have never had this issue in the 45yrs prior of ordering pizza befor. So as it being my fault I was instructed on how to order my pizza instead of Gino's knowing this fact. To go ahead and cook a pizza that they know needs to be cooked to a certain point as to not fall apart when trying to lift out of box to reheat. Now since I called to discuss my order I was told by the manager made sure she made sure my dressing was in my order and then after i was told how it was my fault not to order correctly She would replace my pizza with a new one but wanted the one that fell apart ,,,,, I was just at my last straw. My son had loaded the pizza into the oven (mind you cause it was not warm)and wanted to eat so that was no longer an option placing the dressing in my order making another thin crust pizza..well done. This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a Buisness that sells FOOD! You can order the same exact pizza every single day and day after day you will get a differently made and tasting pizza. Today I figured I would give them a try and ordered a specialty pizza made well done after a long day of work for my wife and I . it's already after 9 and I'm anxious to have a nice dinner at home and after I spent more then 50 dollars I get a soggy uncooked pizza. I called like a gentleman and explained my issue and the woman told me she would send another pizza. Ok... Now an hour and a half later imfurious after spending all this money with nothing to eat so I threw the pizza out and got in bed. Nearly 2 hours after the call the doorbell rings and the delivery guy has the pizza and is asking for the first disaster they sent. So my son answered the door and explained that my parents are in bed and my dad threw the first pizza out. Now at nearly 11 at night my phone is ringing off the hook. about them wanting the first pizza back so they could use it.... I then was left a voicemail that because I didn't give them this raw pizza they sent I would be banned-!!!!! Now instead of assuming responsibility for their error and moving forward in an attempt to right their wrong.. They call my phone like goons threatening and harassing me !!! They will NEVER get my hard earned...
