Dunkin' — Restaurant in City of Rochester

There are so many reasons i wanted to love this location. It’s the closest to my job. The service was nice at first. I go EVERY morning, even my days off. My drinks xame back horrible a couple times and i called the customer service number to get assistance. When i went to the Lake Avenue location, the manager told me not to call that number anymore but to call the store directly to get assistance. I agreed. I ordered a sandwich some weeks later (i usually only grab a coffee) and the sandwich wasn’t made the way id ordered it. I contacted the store this time and was told by the manager to come in the next day and they’d remake the sandwich. That was just fine with me. When i went in the next morning she spoke loudly to me from behind the counter, yelling over the machines to inform me that i needed to bring that sandwich back from the day prior and that if not, I’d have to purchase a new sandwich and she would add an extra slice of cheese for free. 😳🙄🫤 There’s an older yt woman that works there also. I ordered a coffee one morning with espresso and she’d made it for me. She came to the window with my coffee and put up a finger for me to hold on, removed my lid, SNIFFFED MY DRINK and said ‘oh, i forgot the espresso’. 🫢🙊🫢🥺😞 This is not the first let down with a Dunkin Donuts franchise. They’re really going downhill. Might have to give Starbucks a shot...

My wife took my son and stepdaughter to this location this morning and while what they had was not bad, while there they heard several different people cursing each other very loudly. This can be overlooked despite how unprofessional it is.....that said when they watched one of the women drop an entire tray of bagels on the floor and then proceed to pick them back up and put them in the case with the other bagels and donuts to be sold, my wife commented how unsanitary that was to the woman.....to which the woman replied "i don't care I'm not eating it". The store was atrocious in terms of cleanliness. Food and trash left on tables, trash laying around in the store, no napkins in lobby for customers. When we called to address this with a manager we were told there isn't one there and won't be until the following morning. It's 3 pm. I work in food service, have for almost 20 years. At no point should there ever be crew working with no supervisor in the premises.

Worst customer service ever, I came in today to only stand and be walked by 5 times. The girl at the front never asked me if I was ready, ignored me waiting to place an order. Instead she walked in my face to take online orders and not worry about the customer standing in front of her. Even the guy mopping floor called out and asked who’s running the front someone wants to order. With people like that working their who would rather walk by the customer and not do their jobs, they shouldn’t even have a staff. Will never go back here and it’s said because it’s a place that company uses daily when we are out in our truck deliveries. I strongly urge people to not use the Lake Avenue Dunkin Donuts. Waste of time and if their customer service is that bad, I can only unaligned how orders get messed up or worse. How your food may be nasty or made...
