Ordered pizza and chicken wings tonight. Called around 617pm to place my order. Gave the girl my phone # and she repeated my order back to me before we hung up. I had to repeat my phone # to her 3 times. By the 3rd time you would think she get it right. I was told my food would be deliver by 655pm. I went down to the lobby and waited til 704pm. Called to check on the ETA. The girl that took my order answered the phone but then handed me off to another person. I was told the food was already out for delivery. Once again I gave them my phone # and advised them to tell the driver to call when he is here. I went back to my loft then around 720pm got a call from them swearing I gave them the wrong number. I asked them to give me the number they have on file. Then I told the lady I gave the girl my phone # 3 times when I placed the order. If I didn't pay for the order with my card over the phone I think I would have cancel the order. If I gave them the wrong # how the hell were they able to call me to tell me the delivery guy is waiting outside. Mind you, when I called to check on the ETA they looked up my order via my phone #. I felt bad for the delivery guy. I was going to tip $3 bc of the poor customer service but since it was extremely cold out tonight I tipped the delivery guy $5. On top of everything the icing on the cake after I got my pizza turned out it was the WRONG pizza. It was gluten free pizza instead of regular. This girl is either deaf or a stupid idiot. Will not order from this location...
Read moreI would like to point out the Salvatore's food is generally fairly tasty and arrives promptly, generally. I can expect my meal to be yummy. The only issue I have with this particular location of Salvatore's is the detail attentiveness. My office colleagues (group of 3 - 10 of us that will order at a time) and I often like to purchase from here for lunch due to the quality and timeliness. To our dismay, we have had multiple issues in the last several months of ordering. This wasn't just one "mishap". It is now a regular thing to find an issue with our order... Such as, missing drinks, missing chips, forgetting food, adding sauce that did not belong, pizza that toppings had slid off of prior to arriving.... I could really go on. These issues are repetitive and the only compensation we've received for these numerous issues is a mere $5.00 credit. It has been about two months since we've ordered from Salvatore's, and we all had cravings for some subs from there.... So, we decided to give them another shot. Again, to my dismay, there was another problem with the order. Someone had ordered breaded chicken, and instead received grilled chicken. We are not likely to ever return after this incident. He spoke to me so rude and told me that I cannot give you your money back I told you that you will have to call the store owner with a (very loud) voice and then he said but what I can do is make you another sandwich I told him that’s not what I really want and the way that you are talking to me I definitely don’t want you to make anything for me!!!! By this time I have gotten even more upset. There was more employees in the store that was very apologetic one young lady couldn’t stop saying I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry so she already knew that he was being a jerk!!! The other man said do you mind if I make it and of course I said no I dont mind and thank you! They did give me a large steak instead but mind you I had already given $15 so I feel as if I still didn’t really get the better end of the stick I still felt burned in the end!!!!
