Best Chinese Food — Restaurant in City of Rome

First of all, this place is freezing, it is not insulated and there is no towel by the door to keep the draft down at least. Secondly, the ribs were so chewy I couldn’t eat it, I would choke trying to swallow it. It definitely does not taste like ribs nor does it have the look or texture of real ribs. What a waste of my money, I am so dissatisfied now I have to skip a meal to be able to afford what I lost. A meal should not be a gamble and if it is here, it tastes like it would be a loss every time. Lastly, the cashier barely communicates and provides no silverware at all nor did they give me the drink behind the counter of which has to be asked for to be received. What a waste of time and money…

UPDATE 1: The cashier’s customer service was acceptable because they were willing to give a refund for the bad food. However, their chef had an attitude and their cashier tried to say that they never have bad food and that they sell a lot of it. I was with someone that goes there all the time and they said it was not the same. It was very poorly cooked. My friend’s food had a bad aftertaste… My egg roll is the only thing that I enjoyed even though it was overcooked, it was still delicious.

UPDATE 2: My friend says their food is always delicious and today was just not that day. They must have been having a bad day. want to head to my feedback on the ribs, I understand Chinese ribs are not the same as American ribs but the ones I ordered were very chewy rubbery and overall bland. The chef tried to cook them differently, according to the cashier what they trying to bring out the food and say it was re-cooked, but it was clearly the same food that they had served before, it appeared they just put it back in the pan for a few minutes and just put more sauce on it. We have ordered from them a lot over the last few months because our kids like there pizza. We ordered tonight at 545 pm and was told an hour after 2 hours and no call we called them and was told the pizza was being finished so it was hot when it got here. Another 20 minutes went by we called back and was given an excuse. When the delivery guy showed up about 15 minutes latter I asked where the pizza was and he had no clue what our order was. I called back and asked for the owner who pretty much told me to kick rocks because they were busy and did not care. This is the American way now a days they never called us to let us know there was a delay and only care about our American dollar. FIRST OFF, Best Chinese Food (in Rome, NY) is my favorite Chinese restaurant in the Utica/Rome area! To be honest, I've been eating there for almost 15 years, and WILL continue to do so until the day I die!! I LOVE the General Tso's chicken!!
