I attended another 2 shows recently: LIGHTS constantly shining into the audience is very blinding, bad job with lights. January 10, 2025 ACDC/KISS tribute show. Both bands were really good. A-the Angus Young guitarist could not be heard for most of the show because guitar level was way too low. Bass was way too high drowning out the guitar sounds. B-I politely told the lady who was running the lights of the issue but she was really nasty and rude. She said. "it doesn't matter, that is just the way it is she rudely told me to "go away" she gave me a dirty look and used her hand to shew me away. So I complained to the promoter. Your sound man does not know that the Angus Young guitarist is the highlight and should not be barried in the mix?
January 11, 2025 Def L. Tribute. You should have listened to this band before booking them and realized that the singer was not good enough to book. Singer sounded nothing like Def L., he ould not hit high notes and had a weak voice. Band was good, singer sucked. However, this time A-Bass was WAY too loud muddy sludgy and completely barried the other instruments. The sound was pretty bad. B-Sound man raised the level of guitar solos way too late towards the end of the solos. C-Bass drum was often way too loud.
If you want to improve the sound of your shows, you should strongly consider audience feedback, after all they are the paying customers. You also have a lot of empty seats, so a way to fill more seats is to listen to feedback and address the issues.
I appreciate that you bring bands and the price of tickets are reasobable. However, I will NOT be going to anymore of your shows because your sound man is TERRIBLE!!! And you do not seem to care about making any improvments.
I highly recommend that you get someone who knows what a venue should sound like and get a new sound man or train your current one. He is not doing a good job with your sound.
Also, you should take customer feedback seriously and understand that I took the time to send you my review, you should take a minute to respond.
I hope you care enough to make these positive changes.
If you are not the one in charge, maybe you can forward this email to someone who can make your venue a better listening experience.

Read moreClean mid sized about 500 seats on main floor with balcony additional theater downtown in he small city of Rome. The theater has a good sound system and a large screen. Just saw "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" and the experience was uncompromised by any difficulties. It is very traditional no tricky seats or razzmatazz. Adequate refreshments from a modest concession stand. One of the most intriguing aspects of this facility is that it has smaller theaters where it shows lesser known films 7 days a week, 365 days a year. This makes it a major engine toward film appreciation. I helped conduct a League of Women Voters mayoral debate there a few years ago,. Packed the house. Well treated by...
Read moreI visit the Capitol Theatre annually for their Capitolfest film festival. It is an absolute delight to see rare early films with an appreciative audience in a historic theater. The Capitol has been restored to look like it did in its early days with vintage textured wallpaper, gilded details, art deco signage, an antique pay phone, and a beautiful lighted marquee. The staff is knowledgeable, passionate and helpful. They own several buildings on the strip so you can visit a movie-themed bookstore before seeing a film or have an egg cream at the coffee shop next door. If you live in the area you owe it to yourself to see a movie here. It's like time...
