EDIT: my origional post was 6 YEARS ago, and they just now replied to this review. I have moved to NJ and now to GA since Ive written this. Unfortunately, I cannot go back for a second experience as I no longer live there. I do hope its gotten better. Im more upset that they were notified that there was a group coming at that time (was not a "busy time" it was a meeting for a group) They had just ONE employee taking orders, serving and making everything. It was just not well planned out. As the chair member of the group that was in attendance, we didnt plan any future meetings there.
The coffee was okay, decently priced. Service slow. Took me about 45 minutes to get my coffee. Cute little place. I was honestly tempted to leave and just go grab coffee from McDonald's for convenience. The sandwiches looked good but I did not order one. They came with a small salad. Gross looking dressing though. And their paying lot was man packed!! That was 10 minutes of searching for a space because they share a space with 3 other businesses. Don't go during business hours if you ever parking but. go during business hours did speedy...
Read moreI really do hope that the owner/manager reads this. I’m giving 4 stars for the fact that they have a drive through, the phenomenal oat milk latte, and the fruit, lettuce & carrots that came with my breakfast sandwich. The oat milk latte was perfectly frothy and so great, 10/10! I also had an English muffin with egg , cheese & avocado. The bread for the breakfast sandwich was absolutely hard as a rock which tells me one of two things , the bread was either microwaved , or it was stale. Regular English muffins cannot be microwaved. That being said both sandwiches we ordered were like this- the other one didn’t even get eaten unfortunately… I really want to give this place 5 stars, I’ve seen other raving reviews about this place. I hope they can fix the bread issue, I read other people commenting similar things about the bread. This place has a bright future otherwise! Please let me know when you fix the bread thing and I’d be happy to come back and try...
Read moreI LOVE Strudel, no doubt. I had some around the world, and outside Austria the strudel served at the KaffeeHouse is by far the Best! But: Today I tried their Sauerbraten Sandwich: a MUST for meat lovers, the Sauerbraten gravy is not from this world, simply heavenly! (I also had some pumpkin soup, made -of course- from fresh pumpkin: excellent only barely describes that masterpiece of cooking.)
Edit: had Egg&Cheese + Bacon on rye today: the egg is as fluffy as you can get it, best taste with exactly the right seasoning, some fresh fruit by the side + some fresh cucumber pieces, also had some egg salad: wonderful. No mayonnaise, very mild and very small chopped onions, seasoning exactly on the point. And the coffee, I had a latte, is unique. The roast is only made for the Kaffeehouse, this rich, deep, chocolate-like taste without any trace of nasty acidity is very difficult to find anywhere...
