The Posie Peddler — Attraction in City of Saratoga Springs

As a buying flowers neophyte, I frankly had no idea what to expect. I don't know much about flowers, I know they're pretty, and I'd never had them delivered to anyone alive enough to appreciate them, if you know what I mean. I wasn't 'in trouble' or anything either, I know flowers are one way out of the doghouse. I was just thinking of her and thought it'd brighten what'd been a series of rough days at work. Well, I chose the Posie Peddler from their nice website, and had flowers delivered to my girlfriend at her office. I have never done this before. I called at 11:30AM, thinking maybe I'd possibly get them delivered by end of day or most likely the next day.They got them there by 1PM THE SAME DAY and all her coworkers made a big fuss about it. Apparently she'd never gotten flowers delivered to her work before. The bouquet was beautiful, it was reasonably priced, quickly delivered, and my-oh-my was it ever appreciated! ;) I cannot say enough good things about my experience with the Posie Peddler. Only one downside: They set the bar so high for me I may never exceed this gesture. Thank you...

This florist bites off more than he can chew and doesn't understand his own limits. I emailed him on 6/8 asking for an estimate to do my wedding. I wrote out all details explicitly so he wouldn't have to meet with me and could complete the estimate from my email. He said it would take a couple of weeks. I followed up on 6/28 asking how the estimate was coming along and he said he'd get back to me by that Friday for sure which would be 7/2. Emailed him again today on 7/9 after no contact. He said his priority is to the clients who are already booked and he's only 1 person.

Overall this florist seems friendly and means well but how do you book new clients if your only obligation is to those you're already working with? Know your limits, Tim. Don't string potential clients along for...

We have absolutely loved working with Gretchen at Posie Peddler for our wedding! She is easy to work with, and the most knowledgable, experienced, and creative florist we’ve met. For two people who don’t know much at all about flowers, Gretchen was able to walk us through the process of choosing our wedding flowers and bring our ideas to life. She has access to just about any type of flower and greenery and was able to create unique and beautiful arrangements for us. We had to change our wedding plans due to the pandemic, and Gretchen made it seamless. She created a bouquet and boutonniere for our small ceremony, and we know she will create gorgeous centerpieces for our wedding...
