Broadway Joe's Pizzeria — Restaurant in City of Schenectady

If I could give this business a negative star I would! We ordered 2 pizza's at 4:22 for delivery. We paid with our credit card over the phone and was told deliver would be in about an hour. At 5:39 we called and was told it was on it's way. We literally live a 5 minute drive from the pizzeria. At 6:02 I called again and was told it was delivered. I told the girl it had not been delivered and the girl put the driver on the phone who insisted she delivered it to my house but couldn't remember what color my house was since it had been delivered 2 hours ago. I asked for the manager and the owner was put on the phone. He insisted it had been delivered and refused to refund my money. He said "Diane" had signed the receipt. I am not Diane and no one with that name lives here or has ever been at my house. I told him my husband was coming over for a refund and he had the nerve to tell me to have him come over later because he was busy and then hung up on me. I had even told him we have ordered from there a ton of times. This was the absolute last time and I will be telling everyone what an a..hole the owner of this pizza place is. If you don't take my advise and order from there, whatever you do, don't prepay! And to top it off, the pizza's not very good. I only ordered from there because it's labor day and no good pizza...

The food is delicious. However, the staff are not friendly. I ordered the 24 cut special with 40 bone in wings. When I called the lady asked me which type of wings I wanted. I told her bone in thinking it came with the special. It was an extra $20 just to get the bone in and I found that out when I got there. They also didn’t bother to warn me about the price difference over the phone. On their website it doesn’t explain that either, so I went there thinking I had to pay $55 like I did last time. Nope. It was $88 for everything. Last time I got the same thing with the bone in and it was $55 so I feel like they over charged just to get more money out of me. Either that, or the staff there needs to be trained better on specials and pricing and how the explain things over the phone. I could barely afford it and when I freaked out at check out one of the employees just kept staring me down and made me feel embarrassed like this was my fault. After ordering here for 5 years, I will sadly not order from...

If I could give them ZERO stars, I would. The only redeeming quality are the sub rolls. My husband and I ordered from them, after much debate- their service stinks and the quality has just taken a turn for the worse, so we weren't happy about the decision, but we had few choices on a Sunday.

He ordered the Italian Stallion sub, which has the thinnest layer of meat. They used to have these robust subs piled high with meat, now you're lucky if they just rub the meat across the bread and call it a day.

My sub, the veggie sub, includes several veggies and fried eggplant. Now, I don't feel like I need to search for the freaking eggplant on the sandwich, but this piece of eggplant was so paper thin, you could barely tell it was there. It was as if someone ate some eggplant and then breathed the essence of eggplant inside the sandwich. $11.00 for eggplant air and some sloppily thrown together vegetables....
