I’ve been Going to Morrettes Since I could walk and I’m 63 now and ever since the time it closed and then reopened, the quality has gone down big time And this is gotta be the worst steak plate that I’ve ever had from Morrettes I don’t know what all these people are reviewing and giving all these great compliments. They must never have had a real good steak sandwich. I’ve been all over the country and this is gotta be the worst state plate I’ve ever had believe me. I use to eat a steak plates from here once or twice a month But never again. HERE….. You can definitely tell that it’s not the original The onions looked and tasted like they were last weeks. The steak was cut up so small that it was like eating purée steak the sauce, sucks, and taste like nothing but a fresh garlic Clove The role is OK nothing‘s changed there And a large order of onion rings was burnt and too hard to eat Truthfully, I’ll probably never order from there again because somebody does not know how To make a steak plate And for $35 I feel I...

Read moreI was born in 1954. My earliest memories are the nights when my dad who worked for GE would bring home steak sandwiches. This was a special night. I remember them wrapped in tin foil and arriving hot. He would pick them up on the way home from work. Before the Pandemic my husband and I went back to Schenectady. I told him…we have to go to Morrettes! He said yes to please me. When we were served his eyes grew as big as saucers. One bite and he exclaimed …YOU ARE RIGHT! THESE ARE THE BEST STEAK SANDWICHES I HAVE EVER EATEN ! I’m 67 years old now. This year we have been married for 49 years. I hope we can get back soon. Maybe by our 50th Wedding Anniversary if the Pandemic subsides. Every bite was a wonderful memory and the quality has never faltered. Thank you Morrettes for being my happy place as good...
