Nott Memorial — Attraction in City of Schenectady

We were in Schenectedy for "The Art of the Brick" show and happened past Union College where the Nott Memorial is located. Its an eye catching 16 sided building, one of the few in the country that dates back to the late 1800s, early 1900s to commemorate the colleges 64 year president. CAUTION. their website says the nott memorial is open to the public from 10 AM until 6 PM daily BUT IT IS NOT. there's a sign on the basement door that says on-campus personnel can enter through the basement door with proper ID but no mention is made of public admission. we made a special trip to tour the building and were disappointed. these folks are remiss in not updating their website....
