The Meltdown — Restaurant in City of Schenectady

One, you should advertise on DoorDash as Denny’s and not con customers into The Melt down, that is false advertisement. It does not mention anywhere it’s Denny’s. We thought for sure we were lost. Two, the food is absolutely terrible. We ordered the giddy up which had all the meat on one side of the sandwich and 3 burnt ends on the other and very salty. Also ordered the groovy melt that had soggy spinach that left juice at the bottom of the box which made the bread semi soggy. The salt, way too much. The groovy melt left a waxy feeling in my mouth. The treating myself melt looks nothing like the picture at all. We are not sure we even want to try it. There is nothing ooey gooey about Denny’s! We were in the area for a soccer game and wanted to try something new....

I have been consistently impressed with this place every time I’ve ordered it. The breakfast sandwiches are absolutely delicious, my favorite is the Breakfast n’ Bread melt. The fries are always salty, and if you add a side of ranch for dipping it’s even better. Food always comes still warm, and if you make specifications to your order- those are always met too. My sister saw this place and decided to order thru door dash. We ordered the yummy looking Treat myself melt. Welll it wasn't a treat. The picture was deceiving and the treat was more like a trick.
