The restaurant itself is beautiful and cozy, and has some of the best food I've ever been served. Everything has ruch flavour without having too much and the food presentation is very classy. Gloria was our server and went above and beyond all expectations! The prices reflect this but are more than reasonable for the experience you get. A lovely place for a more special evening out! The only downside to our experience is that shortly after we arrived a large group of younger gentlemen filed in around the bar and became very loud and obnoxious with their behaviour. My group became so bothered that we requested our entrées to-go, but I have experience in this industry and understand the challenge of balancing different customer experiences. All the staff seemed a bit uncomfortable but had no agency to really do anything. We will be coming back, but avoiding weekend nights in the future.

We started with their garlic cheese bread, a half loaf of bread dresses up with ricotta mozzarella and other toppings. The bread was lightly toasted crunchy crust and still soft center. For dinner we tried 2 dishes. One was their sausage dish with pasta tossed in a vodka sauce. The sausage was cut into small dices which left us wanting. The vodka sauce was ok but lacking something. The other dish we,tried was the Sicilian style rib eye. That was very Good! I ordered the steak cooked to a,medium temperature and, they nailed it. A very nice pink inside and warm throughout. The meat was tender and somewhat fatty as expected for that cut. It was topped with an apple maple reduction which was a nice compliment while not overpowering the meat. I ordered their roasted potatoes which were nicely done as well.

A solid restaurant in a "distressed" part of town. We went for lunch on what was a terrible day out. Every school in the city was closed and many business opted to keep their doors closed for the safety of their employees. Still, there was a sizable lunch crowd at 1 pm, which is a testament to how good they are. Drinks were well mixed, bread and oil at the beginning of our meal was excellent, soups delicious, entrees better than average. My open faced steak sandwich was a little on the dry side, and at one point, our server/bartender was paying much more attention to her phone than to her customers. I would have liked a second drink, but it was not to be. I'll certainly return.

We sat, waited a good while to order, ordered - questions weren't explained thoroughly... Waited for food (reasonably though)... Food came, my friend disliked it -- nobody came to check on meal satisfaction.... When the busser came to clear my plate and asked how it was I pointed out my friends plate, ten minutes later our server came back and offered her dessert which she declined -- he set down the check, no alterations (which we weren't after - but he didn't even offer us a second glass of wine which we still wanted to have). We put our cards in the bill, and waited.... For forty + minutes (no joke I timed this). We eventually got up and brought it to the bar and asked to cash out. The server then apologized and said he was just really busy with a larger party (of 8) and that they had several complaints he was working out..... I just felt like even that disregarded the fact that we too had issues we would have liked to work out. We still tipped him 20% (we used to be in the industry, and can empathize with having an off night).... But overall nothing stood out enough to want to go back and give it a...

Last night was my second visit. I returned because i received a gift card due to the service from my first visit. I anticipated better service, due to few people dining. Overall experience is,I asked for low sodium food unable to oblige. So the dinner was extremely salty. no offer on refills, in which we desperately needed after the salty food. Once we received our dinner the waitress never came back to check on us until she bought the bill. LOVELY RESTAURANT, GREAT FRONT END, MANAGEMENT VERY POLITE, BUSSER I RAVED OVER HIM LAST VISIT AS HE SERVED OUR TABLE. WAITRESS THAT SERVED US LAST NIGHT DIDN'T CHECK ON OUR TABLE, DIDN'T SERVE US A SOUP THAT CAME WITH ONE OF THE MEALS INSTEAD CHARGED US FOR IT, OVERALL IT'S A NO.... I REALLY WANTED THIS TO BE A LOW KEY RESTAURANT FOR MY FAMILY AND I. NEVER MAKE A FUSS LEAVE A TIP AND A TRUTHFUL...
