Dominick's staff are very, very nice.

The meat is very affordable, but other items do cost more. Delivery...not so good. Been waiting 4.5 hours (and still waiting going on 5 hours), stuck at home, unable to go anywhere.

. Had to cancel something I very much needed to do, because I'm waiting on these people. And calls are totally unhelpful! You might as well ask them to fly to the moon.

Also, the store wasn't as clean as it could be, and some of the displays were positively slovenly.. No excuse for that, in my book. Particularly scary looking were the open freezer chests in two locations inside the store.

I'm sure the locals love it, and I do like the staff there, and not to sound like a food snob, but really-- the cramped and sloppy conditions were sort of off-putting for my taste. They seemed to have enough staff that someone could make the time to go through the freezer chests & shelves and straighten things up, make it look more professional.

Some of the meat didn't look so hot, either. YOu have to really look it over good--not to say the cuts were bad, they were quite good, but I could see some meat turning brown, which if the sell-by date was correct, shouldn't have happened. Won't pretend to know what's going on with that.

Will I go back there? Probably. If only for the meat prices. But I likely won't bother with delivery, since they aren't very professional about it.

But that's actually the norm for Syracuse, where every other business is...

This little store is loaded with luxurious top of the line brands but at a higher price tag. The meat pricy is fair and have a variety to choose from. Some of workers there how ever need to learn some manners. One a black guy asked me if I put something in my coat! Why I spend over a $100 there Christmas eve not to mention all the other times I spent a lot there. I brought it to the attention of the the women at the counters, in front of him. Then there was the incident I got charged regular price for 4 sticks of Butter that was on sale right after the worker told me it won't happen there! Had to turn around go back into the store to bring it to their attention, there was the young girl who did the counter register as I showed them the receipt that I was charged $5 for the butter the older short heavier weight woman got rude with me after trying to fix it with the young girl there like she lost her nerve or got UPSET and said WAIT! to me I almost walked out. Other than those two times which should have never happened we do like to go there when we get together me & my significant other which we are...

The owner is very friendly. It's too bad his staff is not. The grocer is kind. But, I stood at the counter for 25 minutes waiting to buy a lighter. I also bought a sub with a hair in it. Another time after I bought a sub and the owner's wife was standing behind the counter ,the girl making the sub called the wife over and she looked at the sandwich and then up at me and said oh it's only her. When I got home my sub was mangled. Like there had been mold on it and they had picked it all off. Tearing up the bread. I don't go there anymore. You have to be careful of spoiled meat at this market also. Okay update time .... I just sent my grandchildren to Dominick's to get some groceries and they came back with turkey breast that was blue!!; It has blue all threw it!! If I could take a pic of it I would to show you. They were acting like I was lying when I called. I said if I send them back can you replace it. Mind you they came from there a couple of minutes ago. She said I will look at it. I said so your saying your not going to replace it if it isn't good . She said she would look at it...
