A couple of friends and I stopped by after work on a weeknight after finding a spot to park on the street. There were quite a few cars already on the street and this was a slow night so I can't imagine where people park if they decide to dine on a busy night. Once we entered the restaurant, we were promptly seated. Shortly, thereafter, our server stopped by and asked if we'd ever been there before. None of us had so he very quickly told us about the menu and how to order. I had a few questions and each time he answered one, he'd try to make a quick getaway before I asked another question. If he had just stayed in place and asked if we were all set, it would have saved him some frustration from having to come back to the table to hear my next question. Notice I called him a server? That is because, he technically wasn't a waiter. Each table fills out their own ticket with what they want to order. The server only brings out the food to you. So like self-service lines at a store, the diners are doing the job of the employee. Our party of 3 each ordered 2 tacos each which ranged in price from about $4.25 to $9.25 each. We also ordered chips and pico de gallo which cost $6.75. Two in our party ordered Margaritas which on this day were half off along with $1 off all tacos as well. While the tacos were good, they were tiny street tacos and even with $1 off, were way over-priced for what you got. The taco shells also fell apart (got soggy) as they were getting cold. The chips came to the table warm and the pico de gallo was fresh and tasty. The Margaritas were in 8oz glasses and with the discount they were $6 each which wasn't a bad price for the size. However, we all agreed that if each of those drinks were $12 each on a normal night, they definitely wouldn't be happy. (We couldn't verify if the same drinks were served in that same size glass on a normal night for $12 each.) The restaurant was also extremely dark to the point that we had to use our phone's flashlights to read the menu and fill out the ticket. Finally, the menu states that dishes will be served family style and when I asked about that, the server told us that all our tacos would come out on the same tray. While I don't mind "family style" in general, I do have a problem with my taco sitting next to another taco that has a jalapeno on it that may roll over to my taco. The tacos come out on the tray flat and not folded so it is very possible that ingredients may transfer from one to the other! If you're looking for a "trendy" place to visit that serves fun food, this is it. If you're looking to eat to be satiated at a decent price, there are so many other...

Shame Shame Shame!!
I am all for supporting local businesses but you have to at least have a little respect for customers.
I placed an order through Grubhub I go and pick it up. Once I am home I realize they forgot half the order $35 in food was missing.
I called and was greeted with a smug attitude that said "oh yeah well we have it right here you can come pick it up"
I said I am not driving 30 minutes to pick it up, it was your fault for forgetting it. I asked if they could send someone to my house with it or refund me and she goes "oh we don't do that you have to go through Grubhub sorry"
I asked to speak to a manager who was even more incompetent than the bimbo who gave me the wrong order.
This woman gets on the phone and thinks I am a GrubHub driver. It took this genius five times of me explaining it was a pick up order they got wrong and her response was "oh just call Grubhub it will make you feel better if you get the refund yourself, we don't do that."
I did not even get an apology or a sorry we can make that for up to you or even offered a refund. Their attitude was come back and get it even though we messed up or call grubhub to get a refund from them! #fraud
The way you treat people is reciprocated and because of that I tossed the part of my order that I did somehow by a miracle of god did receive right into the garbage.
SHAME on XO Taco 1000 lashes with a spiked chain for their treatment of customers.

Read moreWe had XO Taco for the first time on Taco Tuesday. My husband isn't big into food, but the man loves two things (beside me and the kids of course). Tacos and Margaritas. XO Taco did not disappoint. He got a watermelon margarita and it was very good. Only complaint was it was on the small side. But they are half price on Taco Tuesday, so no worries. We got chips and salsa to start. Salsa roja and salsa verde came with the chips. Both were really good. My daughter ordered three arabica tacos, hubby had one of those too, fish taco and carne asada. They serve all the tacos on one tray which I don't like. But the arabica taco is really something special. The coffee braised beef is so flavorful and tender. The pickled onions and then the crema, let me tell you my one bite made my mouth sing. Seriously delicious. I ordered the howlitzer burrito with chicken and that was very tasty and quite large. One down side here is the awesome sauce on it gets drizzled over the top so you can't pick it up without getting messy and they only give a fork, no knife. Also too big to get a good bite. But I managed and this was also really yummy. I'm sure if I asked for a knife they would have brought me one. I just never did. Hubby also got an ear of mexican corn. He loved it and wished he had ordered two. Overall a great meal and we will go back for more. Definitely...
