Pies Guys Pizzeria — Restaurant in City of Syracuse

My fiancé and I order from Pies Guys in Syracuse every week, we order delivery, and they never disappoint. Our most recent order (Wednesday, September 24th, 2025) showed again why they’re our go-to, everything arrived piping hot, fresh, and perfectly packed. The pizza was so fresh out of the oven it was still steaming when we opened the box.

The weekly pizza special(s) are always creative and consistently delicious, but their classic pizza is just as impressive, real, authentic, and full of flavor. The fried dough is unbeatable: hot, crispy, and soft cooked perfectly, the kind of treat you usually only expect at a fair. The chicken tenders hit that perfect balance of crunchy outside and well-cooked on the inside, (and their calzones are generously filled and baked just right).

What makes Pies Guys stand out is their consistency. Every delivery order has been correct, no forgotten items, on time (even when busy), and handled with care. Nothing ever arrives soggy, smushed, or lukewarm, it’s always exactly how it should be. They also do a great job accommodating requests, which shows how much they value their customers.

We ended up staying at a local hotel on our trip home and decided to try Pies Guys for dinner.

We ordered a large supreme, medium half cheese and half pep and medium garlic cheese bread.

The garlic cheese bread was very good, amazing crust. Not too thick but enough to hold all the cheese. Only complaint was that it wasn't cut well and we were pulling cheese off trying to get them apart.

The pizza though, would not recommend. The crust was so thin, it couldn't hold the toppings. It was unbelievably greasy, like dripping down your hand greasy. Maybe I missed this on the website but the pizza was cut like garlic bread, in long strips, terrible to try and eat with the supreme toppings. Even the pep and cheese was long and floppy.

We're from Canada, so we also have to take into account the exchange rate and I just wouldn't say this was worth...

Just about the worst service i've ever had. Called in by phone at 1130, large pizza and 10 wings told them i'd be there at 12pm. Get there at 1205 and the owner zach told me it'd be a a few minutes which i thought was fine. 1220 is when i got antsy and inquired about my order. The best he could say is "have some consideration, we're busy" i told him that i was going to be late getting back from break, he did not seem to care.. He had been talking loudly about how he had some people call in because of the snow and that they were busy, loud enough for everyone myself and the other patient guy in the front to hear. Im a patient guy, but dont lie to your customers and tell them there food can be ready at a certain time and then not deliver on that promise, this isnt how you run a business.
