The smell inside of the this place is sooo good. To me, this seems like a classy bakery not a mom and pop place at all. They have quite a number of Asian baked goods. Everything is fresh, homemade. Their milkbread is super light, airy, a little sweet, a little savory... So good . They also have a more upscale Chinese donut, sugar and cinnamon twists, macaroons, brownies, different homemade jams, scones, bread with hot dogs cut up and onions, pastries filled with red beans paste, Japanese cloud cakes.. oh and they make these amazing layered cakes with different fruits and layers of homemade whipped cream which is really tasty. You can buy these by the slice or buy the whole thing. They have a peach layered one, a blueberry one, a strawberry one, a marscapone one, a carrot cake, tiramisu... They have a bunch of good stuff to try and the prices are not too bad either for as good quality as all their stuff is. I can't go in this place without buying one or two loaves of the milkbread. Every single time. This bakery is located 10 feet away from the Secret Garden Korean restaurant. Directly next door to the restaurant is Hans Korean grocery. They have everyt1hing Korean in there. It's way smaller than Asia Market on Erie Blvd but Hans has a thousand more Korean items. This bakery is the perfect place to go right after eating hot and super spicy Korean food! The staff is always smiling, they are super helpful, patient, and always make me and my son feel welcome when we walk thru the door. You won't be disappointed if you...
Read moreUpdate 10/11/25 ... I still am surprised when I meet people from the Syracuse area that have never heard of this place let alone been to it ... They are missing out on a great thing. At this point I've probably been coming here close to 10 years and still a top-notch bakery and bubble tea stop. Some of my favorites are a must get every time I go there and I often get surprised with something new that they have... One of the few places I can honestly say that every time I try something new it doesn't disappoint. Everything is meticulously done in the quality to me seems unmatched. There might be a little bit of a sticker shock if you're used to your corner neighborhood bakery with trays of half moons and glazed donuts like I had on the North side growing up... Attention to detail and quality ingredients that is what you pay for here... It's a once in awhile treat place.
Amazing baked goods that stray from the typical. This is a Korean Bakery with a French name and noticably French influence. Impeccably neat and clean. I've been coming hear for years and it never...
Read moreWhat this place is not is a bakery. They sell baked goods and the place is clean and the staff are nice. When I asked if they had any fresh baked bread the cashier/order taker responded with a puzzled look on her face. After asking again and pointing to a picture on their menu board she went to get someone else. That person also was very confused. Again I pointed to the sign and he said no. They only had the packaged sliced loaf bread nothing fresh, nothing made there. I asked then if the picture in the menu board was merely decoration and he said yes. Authentic bakery it is not. I guess the stuff they sell is good, I have no idea and I shall forever not know, as it is highly likely I'll not return. Nice try, but missed the mark. If you're looking for pre-prepared baked items then likely it will work out for you to visit. If you're looking for a bakery then you'll need to travel elsewhere. PriceChopper half a block away would probably be the closest you could go to get a loaf of artisan baked bread, though it isn't baked there it does taste good. That's what I...
