A group of us were regulars at Secret Garden for half-price sushi days. We generally had good experiences here. The environment is not great, but it is ok. It's not very well decorated and the tables and chairs are on the cheap end, though still better than most diners. The staff was friendly and the sushi menu was smaller than some other places in the area, but it was still good and the price was right. The only downfall we experienced (which was enough to have kept us away ever since) was when there was a problem with our orders. A couple of us had our food, but the third plate to come out was incorrect. There were about 7 of us altogether. After that third plate was returned, we never saw our server again. We grabbed his attention a couple of times while he was walking by and he kept saying we were next. An hour later, we all left even though only a couple of us had received any food. I think the bottom line is that service is pretty good (though inconsistent in weird ways - today we all get tea, tomorrow maybe they give us all water and if I made any specific requests like, 'could I get soup after my sushi', then there would be a breakdown) except when something bad happens. Bad fault management. Not a terrible place, but enter at your own risk. I hated to mark Service as 0 because that sounds like abject failure. However, by Google's rating scale, 0 means Poor - Fair, so that's...

My friend and I have been coming to this spot almost every week for over a year now. It's easily our favorite place to grab lunch or dinner. Whether we come on a cold day for some spicy soup, quick sushi, hibachi, or craving chicken and soju.

They have a large menu with options for just about anyone. It's easy to find a meal according to anyones diet choices. I've loved everything I've tried. You get a large portion for what you pay for as well. I've had meals for a couple nights from leftovers I've taken home.

Monday and Wednesday is also sushi night and can easily be packed, but you cant beat the price and the quality.

We love the staff! They are very kind and always attentive. They make our visits 10x more enjoyable.

I plan get togethers for our friends to catch up, and I've chosen this place I believe four times for our dinner meet up before we head out for other activities. So its great for large groups as well.

In more simple terms the food is delicious, always fresh, with a lot of options for everyone. Along with a great staff. Really happy we stumbled...

I went here on a recent trip. I cannot state this enough but based on the food I ordered I was completely taken back on how good the food was and the portion size given. I couldn't even finish it all (had to get a box to take back). I had the Hae Mool Pah Jeon (an appetizer that was huge) and Kimchee Je Yook Bok Geum (also huge). This was my first time of eating Korean food but I could tell how the food was fresh and cooked perfectly. I was also given three small sides with the main meal. Also good. Last I had the most amazing tasting desert of fried mochi green tea ice cream. It was so good...almost too good. The place has a decent look. Towards the end I talked to waitress about why I came and how much I liked the food. She smiled and told me about how in Korea Kimchee is eaten with other food regularly. Coming here and then to have Han's market next door to see made this...

Consistently good! Have visited a couple times for sushi. They are averagely priced for a sushi place. Amazingly, they have half price deals on Wednesdays, which is SOOO worth it. High quality food for cheap. I would recommend the Super Dragon Roll. The atmosphere is nice with low lighting. The servers are very kind and it's easy to grab someone at anytime for help. Dining area is perfect size - not too big, not too small. I also love how there's an Asian food store right next door. You can do so much at one stop! The $20/bottle of wine promo is so smart around Valentine's day.

We came to this place for the amazing deal, 1/2 off sushi! I was excited to try this place, and the sushi wasn't bad. The restaurant was decently clean, the layout wasn't amazing as we were seated next to some very loud ladies (it happens) even though there were plenty of seats. But the customer service wasn't even close to great. You serve me spicy food but don't come back to refill water, we had to hunt him down to pay the bill. So, while I enjoyed the food, I am not sure I will come back for the service. However, if I do come back I will for sure get a Mt. Syracuse Roll!
