Holy Smokes Bourbon and BBQ — Restaurant in City of Watertown

The food was really good....I wish I got more of it but that's always the case with good food. I got a brisket platter and my wife got a sampler with brisket, chicken, and pork. I tried hers and it was all good. The fries are hand cut which I really don't understand why more restaurants don't do that as they are the best! We also got Mac and cheese thinking that's all our daughter would eat, but she annihilated the BBQ so we got to eat it and it was good. I didn't try all they're sauces but they had a jerk sauce that was great when mixed with their sweet BBQ, sweet BBQ was good, and the bourbon BBQ was good. I do wish they had fountain drinks as opposed to bottled water and canned soda. I also wish we got more cornbread because it turned out my daughter loved that too. 5 stars for food, service...

Terrible. Avoid. All I had was the "Cuban" sandwich but it was bad enough that I'd never go back. It bore no resemblance to any Cuban sandwich I've ever had. The pulled pork was completely tasteless and covered in some kind of bbq sauce (on a Cuban sandwich? Lol). I suspect they just boil the pork until tender enough to pull. No burnt bits, no smoke ring or coloration. Just a gray, tasteless mess. The bottom of the to go container was full of some watery liquid that turned the bread into inedible mush. I ate this atrocity out of pure anger at spending $17 for slop. The only reason places like this get away with it is bc the local culinary IQ is so low. Once people wise up, these places...

My husband chose the restaurant today, and I was not happy about BBQ being the choice. But Holy Smokes delivered with flavorful and juicy meat. I ordered the pulled pork Cubano, and it was an absolute delight. My husband got the brisket philly cheese and also loved it. We also got the poutine, but without the meat (I'm Canadian and really wanted it classic). They didn't alter the price of the poutine for not having meat, and also wouldn't put it on the side for is which was dissapointing. They also don't have changing tables in the bathroom which was inconvenient. We and the only other family when we ordered had newborns, so hopefully they get one soon. The meal came to...
