We were very limited ordering at 8:30 pm on a Friday. Most places were going to close, or closed, which is weird to us. Typically in a "city" most pizza places are open until at least 11pm on a weekend. We are from out of town, and we enjoy trying smaller pizza joints. We get sick of Dominos and Pizza Hut. Anyway, we ordered a around 8:45pm, and did so online. First of all, they are extremely overpriced. We wanted a supreme with pepperoni, sausage, onions, peppers and mushrooms. That isn't offered exactly, and instead of them giving the option (if there was one we couldn't find it) of adding a topping, we just created our own (which was only a couple dollars more, no big deal). So, we ordered a medium pizza, and 10 wings. It was over 50 dollars! I said, this better be good. We had an estimated delivery time of 9:38pm. Fine, no big deal. That time came, and went and I called 10 minutes later to just make sure they were coming as it was kind of a weird online ordering system. Guy answered said he was on his way. Perfect! About 5 minutes later, delivery guy calls us. Asks us if we could possibly meet him in the lobby (didn't say why, but he was nice about it), my husband went down. This poor guy was standing there with his arms full of bags and containers. Apparently they had multiple order come in from our hotel so they waited to deliver them altogether. Which, of course, makes sense. However, I feel that ours was left out for some time. Our pizza was cold, our wings were cold and no longer crispy. Crust tasted...ok. Pizza sauce tastes like its just squished tomatoes (no flavor), but the toppings themselves were decent. The wing sauce isn't the best (we had sweet and sour and honey mustard...which they also charge you 50 cents extra to split the 2 sauces). We ate it, and couldn't complain as they closed at 10pm, and we had zero other options. So, there wasn't anyone to be able to complain to, which is why I am doing this. I saw the 4.1 rating, and was hesitant. We should have taken our business to the other upscale pizza joint that had a 4.7 rating. Noted for future. Read moreAppalled!! How dare you treat customers like that!! They completed disrespected my elderly mother! Horrible service from the owner and the delivery boy. In the past they had great food. Today we got hard crunchy calzones and a rude and crude experience. After receiving our order and seeing that it was a struggle to cut a simple calzone my mother called to let them know and ask for a replacement. It also had no ricotta, and there is NOWHERE on the mobile web page menu that even mentions no ricotta. She also told him that. The owner argued that the calzone was not over cooked because he cooked it himself. My mother offered to show him. He expected her to drive out to the restaurant. No. Not appropriate. He came out and directly accused her of lying to get a new calzone with ricotta. How dare you sir! Really?? She told him she was not and she was Christian and would not do that. The calzone is just over cooked and hard. She offered to send photos. We offered to pay more for the ricotta on a new one. He finally gave in after about 15 minutes of arguing and said they would make another and bring it out. (As they should have from the beginning.) Driver brings out the new one and she tries to show him the old one and asked him to tell the owner that she was an elderly woman and he should be ashamed of himself for what he said to her. The driver told her it’s cold I gotta go and when she tried to finish he said “I DON’T CARE ABOUT YOUR PROBLEM CALL HIM!!”. Completely blown away by his rudeness she said well you are bad as well. Read moreI am a regular customer for Papa Tinos and for the most part I have always been very pleased. Their wings are amazing and I always order a salad like I said regularly. Tonight has changed my view of Papas and it’s very unfortunate. I ordered a salad as usual I ordered dressing my salad was dropped off with no dressing at all I even ordered and paid for extra dressing. I called the driver she was very pleasant and she said she’d get me my dressing along with my extra dressings. Well 20 plus minutes later I live maybe 2 blocks from Papas and I was given my dressing but not the extra dressings that I ordered and paid for. I called and asked to speak to a manager whomever answered the phone asked why so I told him why and was polite about it. He said he was gonna get the manager but the manager refused to come to the phone and hear me out. He wouldn’t even give me 30 seconds of his time. It definitely made me feel as a regular customer not valued at all!!!! Not just the dressing missing was an issue my lettuce was nasty and the onions tasted well not like onions. It was rude and very unprofessional for the manager not to take responsibility for the mix up and at least give an apology. I would’ve been fine with that because I know times are hard and they’re busy and things happen.
