While staying in Water Town NY and after googling resturants who served breakfast we decided to try out the Eatery on Main street in Tarrytown. It seems like egg Benedict is a popular staple for breakfast menus. The resturant is small inside but offers a outdoor seating area in the front. The menu items are all offered throughout the day. The menu offers tea for 1 or 2 people. I was in the mood to try out the eggs Benedict which also came with a tender green salad and dressing. Delicious! The hollandaise sauce was delicious and the two eggs were cooked right the muffin the eggs were served with was in between a English muffin and toast. I ordered a nice coffee which came with creme. Excellent. My husband chose the egg hash entree which was served with mashed beats. He said it was 5 star worthy and he recommends the dish. The server was efficient. Read moreThis is a very nice little new restaurant. Very well meaning and great tasting food. Maybe it's just because it's still early in this restaurants life but it took about 40 minutes to make two sandwiches to go.
The dining area was nicely decorated, but felt quiet like something was missing. They could use some nice music for the dining area to help with the atmosphere a bit, otherwise it feels a bit like a waiting room at a doctors office.

I especially love the avocado and Canadian bacon on toast. The seasoning on the avocado and the sprinkled sesame seeds add such a good touch. I love well seasoned food. We plan to go back for lunch.
