LUCKY WAY KITCHEN — Restaurant in City of Yonkers

Let me start off by saying I live around the area and I've been ordering food from here for about 22 YEARS!!!!! Let me say that again.. I've been giving them my money since i went to Saunders HS in 1994.. FOR 22 YEARS!!! Those of you from the area know the HS is 5 minute walk away

So on my way back from work I call in an order for pickup. I asked for a certain vegetable to be left out of my order, like I always do. As I walk in I see that they just finished cooking the foodt and they are about to package it but I see the cook picking the vegetable out of the food. As if he forgot I ordered it w/o that vegetable... a HUGE NO NO. So i tell the guy that I'll take the food but you guys CAN'T do that. What if i ordered it that way because I was allergic. I wouldn't have know and would of ate it and probably ended up in the hospital. His response, "are you allergic? then don't worry about it" I was furious because i know MANY ppl have very bad allergies that could send them to the hospital for this type of negligence. Screw this place.. after all this type of being a patron they basically tell me to "F#@$ OFF". So what else do these sneaky bastards do when you aren't looking at them cook your food... god forbid you have a severe allergy. Do...

This was my first time visiting this specific location physically. I ordered a shrimp and broccoli and I ordered beef on a stick and two shrimp rolls. I walked in with cash 28 in cash and a debit card. I was told this location only takes cash only when I arrive. I called in for a pick up and was never notified that it only took cash in 2022. I typically order online so I obviously only use card. I walked in the store and was told the item cost 28 dollars which I had the exact amount and when I got there was told that I didn't have enough. The lady removed two of my egg roll orders so the total could be 26 dollars. Each shrimp roll is 2.75 each which I've never heard before which made no sense because that would mean the total would be more.. I still took my order after she removed the two shrimp rolls because I didn't have enough cash and the food was dry and she didn't provide any utensils or any general sauce. She didn't even throw in one sauce in the order not even a napkin. Horrible service.. Honestly should've left the food there. The Chinese food on saw mill down the hill is so much better than this location!! 0/0 wouldn't recommend this place. I never write reviews but I had to for this...

I have ordered food from here in the past and have had nothing but positive experiences, until today. I have a carrot allergy and I always make sure to let them know not to put carrots in my food. They always abide by this. However, today when they delivered my order of Singapore Mei Fun, it had carrots in it. When I called them to let them know, they told me that the chef said he did not make it with carrots. They then proceeded to ask for a picture. which i attached. They told me that it wasn't carrots I was seeing, but a garlic noodle. The chef then said that if i taste it I would see that it wasn't a carrot it was a garlic noodle. I then told them that I would be coming down to the restaurant myself to give them back the dish and I would like a full refund.
