This is my first McDonalds that I remember and the one that has been a common location for McDonalds whenever the family or I are in the mood. By far one of the cleanest around and the largest square foot wise and property wise, this is what all McDonalds franchises should copy and follow after. Not to mention the 24 hour drive thru and of you dont have a car that's bo problem; feel free to walk using the drive thru, its not out of the ordinary. Its actually common! Also the staff are respectful hygienic friendly and smart meaning they actually can hold an intelligent conversation and will answer you in proper English.
However on a food perspective McDonalds app is by far the worst of anybgast food restaurants in the means of Deals. The app itself is user friendly however there are barely any price difference between the hard copy menu and the app, a th least anybdifferences where apps provide special orders or special app only prices like what Burger King does. Infact it would be stupid and twice as expensive to purchase anything from Burger King without using its app. You practically get twice if everything for the same price as the standard menu and one has the option of over 30 special orders including 2 or more free items just by using the app. I mention all this so that McDonalds could raise its brand and options in what an app should provide and be like just to atleast compete with its competitors. I ordered food from the drive through and did not realize until I was all the way home. I had to drive 15 minutes back to them to replace the sandwich. Accidentally, I left the receipt at home but thought the app mightโve been helpful since I did use the app (it wasnโt helpful). The drive through manager was asked to assist with the situation - she asked me did I come earlier and say that I was forgetting my fries, I replied no this is my first time here today, I was not missing my fries only my sandwich. I explained the situation to her and told her if itโs too much trouble I can just buy another sandwich because I did forget my receipt. I told her a girl with blue hair gave me my receipt, she said none of her workers have blue hair, I replied itโs blueish, turquoise, she said she doesnโt know who I am talking about as none of her workers have blue hair when in fact the girl does have blue hair because I have seen her before on several occasions. She was not helpful at all. I did get my sandwich replaced but her attitude and demeanor was uncalled for. She was confrontational when I was never confrontational or rude to her. ย ย ย Read moreI used to be a regular at this place, stopping by in the mornings for breakfast and again after work for the afternoon drive. But today, around 3:30 PM, I had the worst experience Iโve ever had hereโand it was enough to make me walk away for good.
Iโve always ordered the same thing: a burger with a condiment on the side to help balance out how overly salty the burger tends to be. Never once had an issueโuntil today. The lady at the drive-thru flat-out refused to give me the condiment, claiming itโs only for nuggets. I showed her my order and even the receipt, which included it. Still, she refused.
So I asked to speak with a supervisor, expecting at least a bit of common sense or decency. Instead, she doubled down and also refused to provide the condiment Iโve gotten countless times before. The level of pettiness over something so small is unbelievable.
This place used to be decent, but itโs clear the management has shifted to being money-hungry and greedy. Theyโve already jacked up the prices to near mid-tier restaurant levelsโbut apparently even a single condiment is now too much to offer a regular customer without a fight.
Well, congratulations. Youโve officially lost a loyal customer over something completely avoidable. I wonโt be coming back, and Iโll be encouraging others to take their business elsewhere. If this is how you treat your regulars, you deserve to watch your customer...
