Sin Dulce Bakery — Restaurant in City of Yonkers

Absolutely awful experience. Ordered food and basically this other customer , we’ll call him guy, was given my food and the lady at the counter realized it once guy left and she’s like “oh! I made a mistake! They took your food!” As she pointed out the door and said it in a tone where I got the impression she wanted me to go after guy(which she did and you’ll soon read why) , that just accidentally took my food. He was given the wrong food because the lady wasn’t paying attention since she was listening to music, chatting, multitasking as if she can do her job without thinking….obviously she cannot. But anyways, I told her like how does this happen? And she had the nerve to tell me, “this here is the order of that guy that took your food, he works in that store a couple doors down, you can go give him this food and swap it there”……see what I mean from earlier on that impression I got from her?

First off, I wasn’t even mad that guy took my food because accidents do happen and we all make mistakes. I’m willing to wait for the food to be made again, just say it was a mistake, and ask if I’m willing to wait.

Secondly, Why would I as the customer put energy to go and fix THE EMPLOYEE’S MISTAKE ??

Third, I’m waiting to get food, I’m not looking for a couple of minutes of employment and fixing an employee’s mistake? I cannot believe she had the nerve to recommend to go to guy’s workplace and swap the food.

Do not go here, they lack common sense, basic human communication skills, do not take responsibility. This was a while ago, but I just remembered as I drove by, so thought I’d share my experience .

I looked at the reviews and just went ahead with this place for my daughter’s birthday cake not ever trying anything. First of the workers were very welcoming, attentive and very friendly. I loved that they never rushed me and wrote down exactly what I wanted and took pictures. The day I picked up the cake it looked exactly like the pictures. But the taste, WOW, as I served the cake at the party, people kept commenting how good it was and some even came to ask me where I got it from. When I finally tasted it, it was delicious. I’ve been eating coming here since they frist open, always been a fan of thier food. Until today, I usually Get tacos from here every 2 weeks when I get the chance, when I came in they never charged tax or charge for toppings such as in lettuce, cilantro, onions and basic things you put on regular taco usually a chicken and beef taco is 6 but when I was about to pay she adds queso y crema con avocado. It goes up to 8 dollars and some change ! I tell her I don’t want anything but lettuce and onions , she start conplaning that it’s a charge extra of 75 cent per taco. She didn’t want to give us the 2 dollars back. So she gave our money back and told us to leave. Never again i would come back and be ripped off...
