Maddogs Grill — Restaurant in Clanton

One of the absolute worst experiences I have ever had in a restaurant. First time coming here and will absolutely never be coming back. After being seated the male server had on so much cologne it was making everyone’s eyes at the table water. He was sweating so much I was afraid it would drip in our drinks. We ordered margaritas which took over thirty minutes to get to the table. I ordered the ribeye steak and potato and after Atleast twenty to thirty minutes later I’m told they are out of potatoes so I need to order another side. I chose Mac and cheese. So almost after an hour our food comes out and is cold. My steak is not cooked to order and my side is cold. My friend sent her burger back because it was cold. The sever then presented attitude when asked if we could talk to the manager. She was not very knowledgeable in her job. She comped my friends meal and that was it. The best part was while leaving walking across the parking lot your wait staff and manager were out front of the building telling us to never come back and using foul language in front of my 14 year old niece to the point where I was headed up to confront the loudmouth hurling profanity laced insults across the parking lot. They went back inside. I will never be back to this awful location and I will tell everyone I know to avoid this place...

Called in for pickup. Stated it'd be ready in 15-20 mins. Arrived 30 mins after calling for to go order. Walked in told the hostess I was picking up. Even though she wasn't seating anyone and on her phone she told me I'd have to ask someone else. I then proceeded to wait almost 15 minutes while they walked away and took more to go orders while still not acknowledging me. I finally got some acknowledgement and was told my food still wasn't ready. Waited another ten mins until someone stopped by to verify myself and the other were waiting on food and would be out shortly. She told the other guy he'd be a little longer because I was in front of them. 5 minutes later the guy behind me received his food. 50 minutes after placing to order my food was ready. I had already paid and tipped over the phone and even though I had done everything I could do, my business and time was put on the back burner while the people patroning the restaurant were serviced well before my food was started. The food was significantly overpriced for what it was. Sub par... And cold shockingly... I would much rather eat and neighborhood bar and grill twice a week then waste my time and money at this...

Won’t be going back ever how RUDE I was treated tonight by some lady that works over there by the ice cream bar or sweet bar she’s usuallly over there! She did it for me also our friends won’t be back either we have been going there for a while now , but Not anymore I tried to take up for our sweet waiter tonight that was being treated AWFUL by another customer!!! and talked to I tried to stand up for her and told the lady working over there ,and in a very* smart tone informed me that the customers food wasn’t right and didn’t even care to take the time to understand How our waiter was being treated! Then the lady that talk to me SO rude at the ice cream/sweet bar goes to the owners of the place and started talking and I look and their ALL starting at me! and the rest of the time that lady is looking at me very rude and cutting her eyes at me I WONT BE BACK. Also might I add I feel so so sorry for the workers! Owners don’t even care about how the waiters are being...
