Dari-Delite — Restaurant in Clanton

My wife and I buy our super at DD usually twice a week... Tonight I ordered a 3 piece snak and a 4 piece snak with onion rings instead of fries with the 4 piece.. When I went to pay the young lady at the window said it would be 13.97.. I ask her if their prices had gone up and she answered no.. I told her we usually order a 3 piece and a 5 piece with onions and slaw ,but its well under that price and that didn't seem right some how.. When the young lady ask another woman inside , she said, if he wants it, that's what he's going to pay.. I thought to myself, how rude.... But I said, dont worry about it.. Paid the 13.97 and went home.. When I got home and told my wife, she to said its never been that price as well.. Then when I opened my box and saw the burnt oinion rings I couldn't believe it.. I couldn't even eat them they were so burnt.... The onion inside looked like a rubber band... I have never had this bad of service at DD before and we were so disappointed with our super.... We're going to reavaluate if we even want to eat there again... They no doubt have great chicken there, but your only as good as your service.... Very...

The food is delicious and has been part of our best family memories through the years. As a child, my husband remembers celebrating baseball wins here with his teamates, and I remember going here for ice cream every week after a trip to the Library. I brought my own children here for many special family times. My father in law used to eat a chicken sandwich every day for lunch. Some of our favorites are the hand breaded chicken fingers and foot long chili dogs with SLAW. Dari-Delite has THE BEST SLAW! We have too many favorite ice cream treats to list them all. My daughter and her husband live in GA now, so every time they come home a trip to Dari-Delite is their special request. My son in law is in love with the broasted chicken & wishes he could find it where he lives. Writing about all this delicious Dari Delite food is making my mouth water. Horrible customer service this owner needs to be reported. Confirmed my order but gave me The WRONG order and overcharged me for reheated chicken but refused to give me a refund … Sad to say the nicest people to me were the African Americans that were in the back who he was sending to do his dirty work while he was outside flirting. I asked for the NICE ONES to go get the manager and he came up the window with the nastiest attitude and was very unprofessional and seemed to be very prejudice!!!
