I usually only write reviews for two reasons: either because the service is truly excellent, or because it’s really bad. Unfortunately, this was the second case.
It was my first time here, and I honestly regret coming. The staff didn’t even bother to ask if it was my first time or offer help with the menu. They just stood there, staring at me, making me feel rushed as if I was wasting their time.
To make things worse, I thought I was ordering a breakfast crêpe, but what I got was just a regular breakfast plate instead. The menu wasn’t clear, and since nobody explained it to me, I ended up leaving without even getting the crêpe I had been craving in the first place. Honestly, what I received at the end of the day looked like a McDonald’s breakfast served on a plate.
And to be completely honest, the food itself wasn’t good either. I’m not saying this out of frustration with the service—I mean it sincerely. The eggs had no flavor, the bacon tasted like very poor quality and almost raw, and honestly, even the bacon at Denny’s is better. The mocha coffee tasted literally like hot milk with chocolate—there was no coffee flavor at all.
And that’s the point: the person at the front is not just a cashier, they are customer service. Their job is to welcome people, guide them, and especially help first-time customers understand the menu. That little effort makes the difference between gaining a returning customer and losing one forever.
This café was completely empty, so it’s not like the staff were too busy to explain or engage. Honestly, maybe that’s why the place is empty to begin with—poor service, lack of training, and disappointing food. At the end of the day, it costs nothing to guide a customer, but it can cost you everything when you don’t.
The food might have potential, but when both the service and the quality are this poor, I...
Read moreMy friend and I decided to try this place out after a morning walk around the village. I was almost finished with my cup of iced tea, as my girfriend and I walked in to to check out the menu. However, we were met with the rude cashier. Not a smile, hello, good morning, or offer to help...rather the first thing out of her mouth in a very condescending tone was "We don't allow outside drinks....you can take a table outside." Which I completely understand, and would have gladly adhered to if the cashier would have taken the time to greet us appropriately. How does she know we were not just checking out the menu...or placing an order to go? The cashier needs some training on customer service. She should work on her delivery, tone, and remember that she is in the customer service industry and kindness goes a long way...especially for a small business. I would like to also add there was not another single customer inside or outside....makes me think this place is not that great anyway. There's no way I would willing choose to dine at this establishment after I was so rudely spoken too. There's plenty of other places to choose from in...
Read moreThe most RUDE waitress ever. The food was OK, a little overpriced, but OK. However, when I got back to work and noticed that I had left my NIKE prescription reading glasses behind. I called Crepes De Paris Inc to find out if I had left them on the table, the waitress immediately said no and that she just cleaned the table and they weren't there, she seemed in a hurry, so I said thank you, and she hung-up. I decided to call back to ask her if I could leave my number in case someone turns them in, This is the part where she gets snotty and rude!, She said I don't need your number and I told you I checked the table and the floor and I didn't find your glasses. I was hoping that if someone finds and turns in these glasses they could call me to come and pick them up. This waitress has ZERO customer skills and is an embarrassment to waitstaff everywhere!! Needless to say, We will never be back to...
