Replay Vintage — Local services in Claremont

While the place has a great selection, the customer service isn’t good. I walked in to the associate talking on the phone taking a personal call (on speaker), and was not greeted. There was no music playing or anything and the environment was oddly quiet as the associate was not very engaging.

I tried on a handful of things so I had to go back forth to the counter bc of the clothing limit (not a problem), however, the associate proceeded to tell me to put the items away myself as I didn’t buy anything.

I was shocked. I have never been asked to do that. I’ve visited the other sister stores, and one of the associates was oddly quiet and non communicative too. It was awkward asking questions and asking for prices. Not sure what’s happening with...

Went in there to ask about scarves, no more than 30 seconds later after the owner said they didn't have warm scarves, another female customer and her daughter stood in front of the door and said I was not leaving the store because she said I might have taken her wallet. The woman and the daughter checked their purse and it was right there, I refused to accept her apology because I was obviously racially profiled and harassed by this stranger after being in the store for less than a minute. The owner of the store did not apologize and seemed to have taken the crazy lady's side even though she was clearly wrong. If you are brown please don't go in this store because the owner probably thinks you're stealing too. I'm reporting...
