This Museum always has the most interesting shows! It is the kind of place one needs to visit each month. Even if you have seen the show once there is always a detail you missed. It is a real gem! Read moreSpent some time in the Claremont Lewis museum who was showcasing the work of Ferne Jacobs. Her work is colorful, intricate and interesting. Some of her pieces took 18 months to make. She is a fiber artist who makes sculptures and wall hangings by hand. The museum had two rooms dedicated to her work and also had video of her creative process. Lots of original architectural details from the wooden window frames, to the period lights, to the beautiful tile work on the floor and walls, you'll feel like you've been transported back through time. They feature new exhibits every 4 months. There's a local art outreach group that works with high school students to promote art and have them do art.
