RibCrib BBQ — Restaurant in Claremore

Well I was a little disappointed with my go to Restaurant in Claremore, So I thought I would give Rib Crib a try. My go to place has a 3 for me deal which is usually pretty good, but lacking the last time I went there. The place in Owasso is always good. My wife noticed that Rib Crib has a similar Big 3 combo deal. We ordered it to go and when we got home I must say we were extremely unhappy. The Burger had plenty of meat, but all the food was extremely bland and the chips that came with the deal were awful as were the fries. The fries were all stuck together like they might have been left over from the day before. On the receipt it has mentioned a survey of how they were doing. Only problem was the receipt we had didn't have the code to enter to complete the survey. I tried contacting the Corporate office in Tulsa to let them know about my experience. I was hoping they would have a chance to help the Claremore store get things right. I was not asking for anything. I was just hoping they could improve their product. I called and had to leave a voice mail as no one at Corporate was answering the phone.. I waited 3 weeks for a return call, so I could explain to them or at least get an email address that was valid to send them my concern. All I got was crickets. I was hoping to not make this public and give them a chance to improve, but it seems that since I never got a response that they really don't care. Very sad. We (5 total) went to try their brunch for my wife's birthday with high expectations (big mistake). The menu looked amazing as we all had trouble to pick out what we wanted. That was great so we could try other items the next time.

The table of 6 then sat down and ordered. We were told our meals should be up next and apologized. The food arrived to the table next to us and they began to eat. The reason for our delay was the chicken tenders and give them 2 more minutes. 10 minutes later, 3 of the 5 entrees arrived - including the chicken tenders. The table next to us has asked for their check because they've finished eating. 5-7 minutes later the final 2 entrees arrived and I asked for a box because I was so angry that I lost my appetite.

The highlight of the meals was the scrambled eggs - my 11 year old said they were good. Everything else was bland, the chicken tenders were taken home so we could make them into a sandwich, the burger was half eaten because "it's a burger", the ribs & brisket didn't have any flavor and the bowl was decent once you coated it in sauce. We won't be wasting anyone's time by trying the different items. They did comp the food and I tipped the waiter. I would have rather paid for decent food than get free bland food an hour after ordering. We definitely will...

With hardly any customers, and after 30 minutes, we had to ask the waitress to come over so we could order. It took an hour for the food to arrive. The food was cold, and some of it tasted stale. Whenever our glasses were empty, we had to ask for the water refills. Every time. We had to ask for the checks. We had to ask for her to come back to accept our payment. She would occasionally pass by, but wouldn’t look our way. We went and got the containers to take home the leftover food. And the Carolina sauce tasted like white vinegar with a slight hint of mustard.

I don’t normally leave one star reviews, but this experience was ridiculous. There were a lot of workers in the back, and some up front, but none paid much attention to the customers. We didn’t say anything about it, we weren’t rude at all, nor were we demanding. We just didn’t receive normal service. In fact, we didn’t receive bad service. It was horrible service.
