Cafe Latino TN — Restaurant in Clarksville

I will NOT be coming back here again! I only went in for the empanadas (because my husband stopped by and told me about them), so I got two! I SPECIFICALLY told him CHICKEN & BEEF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I received Chicken & Cheese!

I went back in and told him I received the wrong one.... & he said "no... you told me chicken and cheese... I wrote it down"! We went to the counter and he wrote down BEEF & CHEESE!!!!! So, I said, yea... I didn't say cheese! & his response... again.... "that's what I wrote down".... LUCKILY I was on the phone with my husband and I said "what did you hear me order" & he said "you said chicken and beef, because when i told you they had cheese, you said ew"!

Now......... this is how I KNOW I didn't order cheese. I'M LACTOSE INTOLERANT! WHY IN THE HELL WOULD I ORDER CHEESE?????? Just say there was a mix up and FIX IT! He didn't even BOTHER to try and fix it! & what's even crazier is, once my husband heard the exchange, he checked his food, and he had a cheese one as well! So I guess the guy at the counter just hears what he wants! & the one that he CLAIMS is beef definitely doesn't even look like beef! He said it's shredded beef?! Lmao WHAT? Yea, I'll never come here again!

Unfortunately, my experience at Café Latino in Clarksville was very disappointing. The place has potential, but everything is overshadowed by the owner's behavior, which is simply unacceptable. From the moment I walked in, his attitude was rude and unprofessional instead of feeling welcome, I felt uncomfortable.

On top of that, this isn't the first time I've heard similar comments from other customers. Several people have mentioned that the owner mistreats his employees, and sadly, it shows. The atmosphere feels tense, and it’s disheartening to know that the staff might be working under poor conditions and lack of respect.

A business can’t thrive when the problem starts at the top. In this case, it clearly does. Very disappointing. I won’t be returning, and I absolutely do not...

We ate there a couple weeks ago with the kids, 8 and 18. It took 45 minutes for our burgers to come and my daughter’s chicken nuggets came 10 min before. Then the food our teenager ordered. Not only was this upsetting but the table next to us came in after, ordered after, and got their food before us. The food is good but when you don’t treat your customers the way they should you get low stars. We were ignored for at least 20 minutes with empty drinks, I had to ask for more. Which they don’t have anything but pre bottled drinks. So our bill was $100 for burgers and nuggets and bottles sodas for 4 people. Highly disappointed especially when this restaurant is similar to one in south Florida...
