Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Clarksville

This is for the new location on Trenton. Only reason this place is even getting two stars is because it’s new. I have been here multiple times now, most recent being Friday the 3rd, the day it stormed. Out of the 7 employees I saw, three were standing by the back counter complaining very loudly how terribly a few online orders were made, one lady was simply slicing the meat, one young lady was taking your payment (that’s it), one was holding the door due to the wind and vaping at that, and the last young man was the ONLY one making the sandwiches. The lady slicing the meat which doesn’t take long and could have easily helped make the sandwiches was rudely telling the young man how he was doing things wrong, going too slow blah blah blah… something that should have been discussed NOT in front of 9 customers watching and witnessing this all. The other young lady taking the payments could have easily helped as well. She instead choose to join in belittling him and not helping him. Again, in front of customers.. None of these employees choose to help but instead made rude comments throughout. It was disgusting to watch, extremely unprofessional and rude. How are you expecting these employees(especially the younger generation) to succeed if no one is willing to teach? I have worked in the food industry for 14 years and I have never seen such poor leadership and poor quality of coworkers. To the young man making the sandwiches, just know there are way better jobs out there with way better leadership. You did just fine! My sandwich was perfect. As far as the mistakes go, it’s gonna happen. Just move forward and correct the mistakes.

I absolutely love the brand! How ever this location is complete trash. I’ve gotten peppers from the grill for years from every location except this one. Even tho it burns my chaps, it is what it is. Once I decline my sandwich due to not getting what I want on it, I order a steak and cheese. Once I get it I’m immediately sickened by it. Cheese not completely melted, so much grease the sandwich is soaked, the bottom bread is falling apart and the meats not even chopped up. So I go for a refund and the only thing the manager has to say is it’s not supposed to be finely chopped. Like really! Can’t believe Jeff has a location with such a non-personable manager! This guys so worried about serving me raw peppers but gives me pre sliced meat that was stacked in The fridge from a previously mistake or something? Not the fact that your staff wipes down your kitchen or check people out with gloves on then proceed to use those same gloves to make sandwiches. I watch the guys touch raw steak and then use the same gloves to touch bread. What’s the difference from that to getting raw peppers. And why the heck doesn’t Jersey mikes have a separate area for the sweet peppers to be served cold? But let’s touch bread after touching raw meat, but not give peppers from the grill cold because of cross...

Use to be wonderful place but now the workers are not paying attention to what they are doing or don't care, tonight I ordered a #56 no peppers extra meat. Young lady that took the order I ask can you drain as much of juice so the bread not soaked she said we can't do that I said yes you can I order there all the time, got my sandwich had thing to do so I went to take a bite and the pepper was so hot and so many that it would have served three sandwiches, called back right at nine to tell them about it and I'm calling Gm, this is second time they have disregard my orders on how I want my sandwich and with their attitude they did what they wanted. I anit asking for nothing free but it needs to be looked into not only are you wasting my money to wasting the store money. Last time got a cold sub the young lady was so disrespectful I called back to the store and ask her was she ok cause she displayed terrible work skills with a attitude, my son went inside and pick up the sandwich when I got home and lift the sandwich I know it weight 3 to 4 pounds, wasting the owner product I let her know with the attitude I was scared to eat it and didn't. I love the sandwich shop great sandwiches but some employees need to be checked by...
