I wanna start by saying I love Chinese food. I haven't been back to this place since I found out they made a health score in the 70 a few months ago. I always got there pineapple chicken. I decided to give them another chance....which didn't go well. I went on Sunday Aug. 28 around 1pm but it was super crowded, I got a to go order of lo mein, rolls and pineapple chicken and went to eat in my car, after a few bits of food I noticed a black beetle in my sauce. After picking up and actual looking at it, it was indeed a beetle. I went inside to let them know. They did give me a refund of course BUT they seem to try and justify why the bug was there. Saying "during the summer, they come inside and get on top of there counters." And "they can't tell if or when bugs get in because the sauces are dark colors."

On Sunday, my sweetie was under the weather, so she sent me out to enjoy a Chinese buffet. I've been in Clarksville now for a couple of months and haven't had a buffet here. We are a bit particular with buffets these days. I looked on Google to find the highest-rated restaurant available. China King looked by far to be the best around, so that's where I went. I must say that I'm not disappointed. I was seated immediately despite the heavy after-church crowd. The restaurant appeared very clean and the staff worked quite orderly. I was never in want for a refill. That's refreshing to say these days. The selection of food was adequate. I had expected a wider variety of sushi, but I got by. I really enjoyed the fried chicken wings. The next time Mamaw is sick, Papaw will be going back! Thanks, China King.

A very good Chinese buffet. As with any buffet, some items were better than others. But the stuff that was good was really good and nothing was too terrible. They had a surprising amount of dessert items, including soft serve ice cream. We especially enjoyed the chicken teriyaki, lo mein, and chicken wings. One thing to know, it’s a difficult place if you have limited mobility as it’s pretty crammed with buffet lines and tables.

The food was all fresh, especially the coconut cream shrimp which is a MUST TRY, If you like coconut with no flakes or pieces but you do like the flavor..

I can only assume our server was either having an off day/bad day, or she was just really in a hurry for her day/shift to be over, I am still not sure which or if both were the reason.

Everything was full of flavor and some of the very best offerings out of all of the different places I have tried locally. The variety of sushi & hibatchi choices was really outstanding, as always. . Just about every employee we interacted with was very polite & courteous. The atmosphere was relaxing, brightly lit and welcoming. This has always been our experience every time we have eaten here. The food quality and the selection, as well as the usual experience we have with our servers is what keeps us looking forward to every visit.

Because everybody else that was working there I observed to be very polite, professional, very attentive to their tables, and overall giving a different experience than we had today. We had been seated and eating only about 20-30 minutes, iirc, when our server tonight brought the check to the table. Usually it is a full hour - hour & half OR between 3-5 plates before everyone gets good and full here, and we always tip 25-40% of our total bill here because the servers are usully really awesome and the kitchen staff that keep the food fresh and stocked do such a great job.

We reflected this in the amount she was tipped, to which her coming back to the table to complain about it sarcasticaly, while I was still eating on my 2nd plate and just killed the rest of my appetite. I then decided the cash that i WAS going to leave for her on the table after we were done eating, would probably be better appreciated by someone else. i opened my mouth to speak and my brother kindly interjected and did everybody, myself included, a favor.

My brother told her a different reason than I was going to- He has that thing called "tact" , & also skills useful in diffusing & de-escalating.. I was just going to get real specific & blunt about some things that were physicly done by her that was uncalled for, and not care about hurt feelings until maybe some time afterwards.

I highly recommend this place to anyone for dates, gettogethers, business meetings, family meal out, lunch break, etc.. It just has a calm yet energtic feel and welcoming atnosphere. The food is well...

I do not like leaving bad reviews. But Let's start of by saying I have never been humiliated or embarrassed at a buffet before. But honestly I handle it well. So my husband wanted to eat here, and I said ok. I prefer a nice restaurant. I really don't like Chinese food so normally when we go, I get the same thing. We'll we was there for a few hours, and I went back to buffet to get like 5 crawfish. The waiter told me he charged us for lunch, but he will let it slide. Im confused at this point. But I said ok, and gave him a tip. My husband was away, so I was like let me try the mussels and try a few more crawfish. I literally forgot, but I have never been to a buffet where they watch you. So as im walking back to the table the waiter ask me was my plate my last plate. I told him to charge me for dinner price. So I told my husband and he flipped out. The manager tried explain that we came in at lunch time, the crawfish was for dinner. Honestly I have had better crawfish. They was brown and I didn't eat some of them. Needless to say, I will not be eating here again. We paid and left. This is not how you treat customers. I didn't have a full plate of crawfish, and why brings us the ticket if we are still are eating. Money is not the problem. They could have charge us the dinner price and it would have been OK. I feel like it's very distasteful to watch customers eat at a buffet. I have paid good money for some fresh crawfish, that was not worth you checking me. Like I said I prefer nice restaurants versus Chinese hibachi due to I do not care foe Chinese food. My husband like eating all you can eat, I just sample different stuff. We did not eat all the food, just getting checked for eating crawfish. Dinner is like a few dollars more. Now hopefully my husband will try some other type of restaurants, since this humiliating situation, where the waiter got a tip. He kept apologizing, but at this point he was doing to much. If I was waiter I...

I have lived in Clarksville off and on for many years and this place used to be one of my top picks for lunch. I was eating here about twice a week, but no more. This place has gone down so much, I'm surprised people still eat here. Prices have gone up significantly, however food quality, service, and cleanliness has all but disappeared. I was excited to visit one of my old favorites, but after my recent visit it is no longer. Waitresses are lifeless zombies who stair down customers while their trying to eat, not attentive at all unless you are leaving and they are in hot pursuit for their tip. Food is cold to room temp at best, some things are either overcooked (hard), soggy, or undercooked. The sushi is decent I will give them that. The food they prepare in front of you on their back grill was not the freshest in my opinion. The raw meet seemed a bit slimy and the mushrooms did not looked washed before they were sliced for the bar. If you know how mushrooms are farmed you'd understand my concerns on this one. Cleanliness: in some places my feet stuck to the carpet and outside of food cooking the smell in the restaurant wasn't very nice. Under our table there was a lot of pieces of dropped food, some pieces smashed into the carpet from where previous customers had eaten. I didn't even waist my time to use the restrooms. I just waited to get home. I'm not sure what happened to this place. I am sad and very disappointed. We paid a good amount of money for this experience. Left feeling robbed and completely unsatisfied. I will give them one star for their sushi, which was most of our meal. But that is it. In my opinion and it saddens me to say because this place used to be one of my fav's, overall this is a no go. Hope they realize where they fell and clean...
