Wow!!! LOVE this place and wish I could give it more stars!!! Huge shoutout to Katie for being, probably the best waitress we’ve ever had at any restaurant we’ve been to. This was our first time here and needless to say, we’ll be back. Brought our daughter in for her 10th birthday and I whispered that to the gentleman helping us to our seats. Our waitress came out to the patio promptly and secretly asked me if we wanted whipped cream in her face, to which I promptly agreed to haha! I really appreciated that she took the time to ask, that was so very respectful. We ordered, ate and enjoyed our dinner, all while the staff was secretly signaling to us. By the way, their tamales are incredible!!!! Then they came out with the sombrero, birthday dessert and 3 small plates of whipped cream for the rest of the family(In case big sister didn’t take it so well, we could all pie ourselves). They put the sombrero on her head and the look on her face was priceless, then we sang her happy birthday and Katie pied her!! She LOVED it, and we all ended up with whipped cream on our faces anyways haha. The food was beyond amazing, the whipped cream birthday was hands down the best and the service from the entire staff was just incredible. We are patrons for life, thank y’all so much. Just had lunch here and it was amazing!! Me and my boyfriend came in here around noon and were promptly greeted and seated. Only took a minute for our server to greet us and take our drink orders. She was friendly and spoke fluent English and Spanish. Maybe took 20 minutes for our food to arrive. My boyfriend ordered the steak burrito and it was HUGE. It came covered in plenty of queso. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. I ordered the beef chimichanga and my order was also huge. It was very hot, temperature wise, and maybe a little mild spicy wise. Everything was very well seasoned. The hardest part was not being able to decide what to order as they had so many options and all of them looked and sounded delicious. Food has always been great, and service is typically decent. The Uber Eats and Door Dash menus are limited in comparison to the in house menu, so sometimes you need to add notes to your order. We recently had an order with some mistakes (just a couple of kids’ meals, not a huge deal), so my husband and teenage daughter took the food back. Carla, the hostess (apparently the manager) was incredibly unpleasant. After consistently speaking to them in a condescending manner, rolling her eyes, scoffing and laughing with her coworkers, my daughter said to her father “I don’t think we should come back” and her response was “I hope not.” It really is unfortunate, because we love going there, and it’s always our go-to for date night or takeout.
