This place is clean and welcoming I have been looking forward to eating here since I heard about it. We arrived at about 3:00 their was a party of three here already they were ordering from the waitperson. There was a young man who came out of the kitchen he did not look at nor approach us his interest was on the soccer game on tv. The waitress came and gave us our menus she returned in timely fashion we ordered green tea and a Mich Ultra. She said that they had no Mich Ultra I pointed to it in the cooler. I then pointed to each of the menu items that we wanted. Shrimp dumplings, Bahn Mei a grilled pork sandwich and chicken fried rice. The restaurant began to fill up. Two tables that came in after us were served there food. Finally 3:35, food was brought to our table it wasn't our food though. I again pointed out what we wanted on the menu. The wait person went to the young man watching soccer he punched some things into the computer. By now another three tables had been seated. By 3:50 everyone had been served but us. Five minutes later food was brought to our table it was the sandwich, it looked delicious, but I asked the waitress a new one where the rest of our food was. I was told this was all we had ordered. I asked to speak to the manager she went to speak to him and returned to ask what else we wanted. I told her I wanted the manager. He finally came over and he immediately blamed it all on the waitress . That was the straw that broke this camels back. I told him, no it was his fault he is the manager he is responsible for making sure that his staff is trained he is responsible for expediting food orders and he is responsible for the well being and satisfaction of his guests! I also was not quiet about it! This is not a bad review of the food which all looked and smelled wonderful this is a review of the manager who needs to know what that position means in the...
Read moreI would say the only positive experience that we had was our waitress. She was busy and running around all over the restaurant, but I will saw that she did the absolute best she could to table touch. Her communication is fantastic, and I appreciate that was honest and informative of our food. She was able to keep a positive, professional, and cheery demeanor despite being busy. I applaud her and the hard work she does. That being said...that is where the good experience ceases. We ordered steamed gyoza and the shrimp tempura, and to honest it was incredibly bland. Even having dipped it in the sauce it felt so lack luster. The shrimp was heavily breaded and the middle still felt a little soggy. They didn't have the ingredients for the ramen that I truly wanted, and I settled for the miso ramen. It was highly disappointing. The miso tasted like a powdered pack from the grocery store, the egg was hard boiled, and the meat was tough, thick, and grainy. My boyfriend ordered the bo pho, and also felt uninspired with his meal. After attempting to doctor it with the sauces provided at the table he still felt as though the broth was bland. The sprouts were...rotting. They were certainly in the process of turning. The color was off; some being translucent, and appeared soggy. The final item was an iced vietnamese coffee with boba. The coffe had this luke warm flavor, and a poor balance of sugar and milk. It took a long time to receive it, and it tasted rushed. We were excited to try this new establishment, but unfortunately it did meet our standards. We personally would...
Read moreFrom the moment we stepped into this restaurant, it felt unwelcoming. We walked in and stood at the front desk while the hostess was just sitting there. Finally we asked if it was open seating or what, and she said someone will be right with us and walked away, only to come back a couple minutes later to seat us herself... and then asked us where we wanted to sit anyway. The food was decent. Large portions and tasted alright but it wasn't anything to write home about. The sweet tea however, was $3 a glass which I thought was asinine. The worst was when we finished our meal. We sat there for a solid 10 to 15 minutes basically twiddling our thumbs waiting for someone to bring us a bill or anything. All of them were in the corner on their phones not helping anyone. It wasn't even busy at the time with maybe 3 other tables. It was upsetting having to just sit there, visibly no longer eating and just sitting there in complete silence looking around waiting for someone to come bring us our bill. Would not recommend coming here as the food is definitely not...
