Mugsy's Coffee Co — Restaurant in Clarksville

My husband and I love their breakfast sandwiches and their coffee is great! We’ve had lots of positive experiences with their food and drinks.

On the flip side, I just got a new espresso machine for Christmas and was excited to buy my grounds from a local spot. My husband accidentally bought too fine of a grind for our machine and only having used a few scoops thought I could head back and exchange for a coarser grind but the young lady working the counter gave absolutely no thought to that. On some level I do understand this but as a local consumer I like to think they value their customers enough to make something work so I’m not hanging onto a useless bag of grounds and could get some use out of their products. Even a discount would have sufficed. Safe to say we will not be buying their products moving forward…I expected a bit more from a local...

Unprofessional staff! The coffee and food are very good, but the staff are incredibly unprofessional. On the day I visited I wanted to sit inside and enjoy my coffee, but the employees and who I believe was a manager were having a very loud (almost screaming) discussion about work hours in the dining area. It made it feel like I was interuping a work meeting. They could barely be bothered to acknowledge me when I approached the counter and then continued their loud discussion as if there were no customers in the building. I eventually had to leave because they were creating such an unpleasant environment. The coffee and food are good, but I recommend only getting drive through unless you want to be privy to all...

I don't think I'll be going there anymore, which is sad because I like supporting local business, but they just irritated me. My friend and I were there with our little girls, who were being loud, so we decided to go sit outside as to not disturb other customers. There was only 1 chair at the little table outside so I asked one of the employees if i could bring one of the inside ones out there. She said no, they weren't outdoor chairs. I would have been right outside the window and I told her I'd bring it back in as soon as we were done, but she still said no. The chair was wooden, it would have been fine for 10 minutes.
