I have been here twice since they have opened. I was impressed the first time I went, it was fast, the food was great. I went there today to grab lunch (smoothie, a chicken apple flatbread wrap). The drive thru looked packed, so I decided to place a to go order at the counter. I understand I went there during “the busiest time” - lunchtime. I placed my order st 1216. It seemed very chaotic (which I’m sure is because of all the people they were training). However, I was in a hurry and had to leave to get to work. I expected waiting 10, 15 minutes tops. I was there for 26 minutes before I decided to ask where my order was. The response I got - “the ticket was lost.” This was after a few minutes of the workers staring at me as they were looking at the receipt I had. It was very rude and unprofessional. It should have been made right away instead of minutes of staring at me and asking the others if anyone had made it. I saw them pull my smoothie out of the fridge ( clearly this had been made and I have no clue why was placed in the fridge) and then they hurriedly made the sandwich, which was not as good as the first time I got it.
I called the manager as I didn’t have time to stay and tell them what happened. He offered to come in next time for a card, which I could care less about. He also proceeded in trying to tell me the time it takes to make “readily fresh food, etc.” I don’t need to hear that - I was more than happy to wait, I was not happy that my ticket was clearly lost because others got their food after me, plus I waited 30 minutes before getting my food.
I honestly think they need to have a Panera type set up for to go orders instead of paper slips, esp because it was busy.
Overall, I’ll be back to try it again - but be warned if you...
Read moreMy husband and I usually order through the drive thru but today we decided to go inside for the second time. The first time we went in the cafe we met the owner of the place and he was very welcoming and hospitable. The energy was very nice. We sat at the bar, where they make the smoothies and put all the pick up orders and the owner didn’t say nothing about us sitting there before. It didn’t seem like it was a problem. Especially, because they have chairs there where people can sit. Well today we decided to sit at the same spot. We go in and the young lady that took our order was very nice and helpful. There was also a young man working hard making smoothies. So while we are sitting there enjoying our smoothies and food the energy of the place just switches. An older lady comes from the back and starts raising her voice to this young man and you could tell he was getting flustered because she was not happy with him and he was working making smoothies and then the older lady comes to me and my husband and tells us that “next time when you guys come in, don’t sit over here because this where the door dash people come in and pick up orders and start hovering and I’m sure you guys don’t want people hovering over you while you guys eating.” Now, if I didn’t witness her being unprofessional to the young man working than maybe I wouldn’t have taken this the wrong way to where I had to write this review. But as soon as she walked away me and my husband instantly felt very uncomfortable and just packed up our half eaten sandwiches and left. I would suggest removing the stools that you have under the bar so people won’t sit there and also work on giving those young kids and better work environment and it not...
Read moreFor me hearing and reading all the rave about this place was not enough. I decided to visit them and left in love with their food and fantastic customer service. Walking into the place, I got some Miami vibes from the decor and relaxed atmosphere while placing my order. I ordered a Cuban Sanwich, Baja Chicken Wrap, and Buffalo Chicken Wrap and tried a bit of each for a tour of flavors. If I had to rate them each, the Cuban would take the prize.
The pulled pork was moist and full of flavor blended in melted swiss cheese and mustard for the perfect trifecta. Next, I tried the Baja Chicken Wrap, where they combined grilled chicken, avocado, and black beans yummy. Finally, the Buffalo Chicken wrap was good, but not what I expected. The buffalo sauce on this one overtook the flavor on the chicken, and it was a bit too much for my taste. Pairing all of them with Kale and Apple slaw as a side was an excellent complement for each of these entries, and I would highly recommend it.
The customer service was on point with friendly and fast service at the register. I will be going back to try different entries and will recommend to all my friends and family. Finally, I appreciate the owner's support of our military and his service as a veteran himself. Thanks for offering a military discount in support of those who served!
