I do not recommend taking anything to this location to be repaired, if you do please take very thorough pictures! I dropped off my MacBook Pro here 01/06/25 to be repaired for a damaged screen. The gentleman that took in my device informed me it would be about 10 days because they had to order the part, which was fine, I rarely use my computer except for work. Later that evening they called and said it was ready, when asked how as they said it would be longer they stated it was because they did have the part needed from a previous repair and the gentleman that took it in was unaware. I picked up my computer today 01/07/25 and checked the screen to ensure everything was okay and walked out. Getting in the car I went to put the case back on but it had a sticker on the back which I was trying to remove, when I noticed a small area that had some surface discoloring in the shape of a mail label similar to the sticker I was removing. Thinking it was residue I tried to remove it with a wipe which didnât work, so I took it back in and brought it to their attention and asked them if they could fix it, the gentleman that was helping me stated it looked like it was residue from a sticker and that it would come off with alcohol, I informed him I had tried to remove it but it didnât work and asked if they had any alcohol as I wanted it fixed before leaving, he brought some to me and I tried to remove it which didnât work. I then stated I needed it fixed because I didnât bring it in that way and I wasnât happy with it, he proceeded to get another person from the back who then stated I brought it in like that and there was nothing they could do that it looked like there was a sticker I had removed. That Mark was not there when I brought it in I am extremely particular about how I take care of my electronics and belongings as I have ocd and it causes me extreme anxiety. I have also had this in a case since the day I bought it and have never removed it. Had the mark been there at drop off I would have stated that and not made it an issue, I repeatedly stated it wasnât there and in a nutshell they refused to fix it or offer any sort of resolution other than I could pay to fix it. When I mentioned video footage they said The camera would not show the damage nor that they had access to it or even show the Customers the footage. She even had the audacity to get smart and stated âdoes this affect the functionality of the computerâ insinuating that it wasnât a big deal. Is it a minor damage to the surface, maybe but the principal is this was not how I dropped it off. She also kept stating it wasnât damaged, itâs cosmetic, I donât care what terms you try to use, cosmetic or not. Itâs still damage to the computer. Itâs not how I purchased it or how I dropped it off. I then asked her if I could speak to the owner or get their information which she stated she couldnât give me, I then stated I wanted to leave my information for them to call me because I wanted this resolved. During this process, I was on the phone with my brother when I made a statement using the word damn, she then stated not to cuss at her, which I said Somewhere along the lines that I was speaking to my brother, but had I wanted to cuss at her I can, She did not like that. Proceeded to tell me to leave, And walked away, which I then turned to the gentleman and asked if I could get a phone number to talk to someone realizing this was getting nowhere, He proceeded to tell me that there was no phone number, During this, she come back around, told me to leave again and told him to basically stop talking to me in which he did I continue to ask for some sort of number she refuse to speak further, picked up the phone and called the Police on me I proceeded outside called the police myself informing them that I did want someone to come so I could also file a report and she filed trespassing charges against me. My issue was not resolved I Have to complain with Verizon and in the event it gets repaired again I can no longer go to...
Read moreAvoid. I would give negative stars, if possible. They had computer for 3 months. When we called to check on the status after growing concerned as so much time had went by, we were told the computer was about to be put in recycling because they couldnt get in contact with us. They never called us to pick it up or provide an update - we were just waiting to hear from them assuming they were working on it. Why would it be queued for recycling? They NEVER called! Then, when they finally said it was ready to be picked up (after us calling them again), my husband did so after a long day of work. The tech just handed it to him without any update on what they did to fix. My husband was too drained to even fool with someone like that so he took it and left, planning to figure out what they fixed when he got home. However, we noticed once he got home the face plate was missing. We brought the computer back. The tech at the front was originally polite and stated the computer shouldn't have been returned to us in that condition agreeing that it still needed work. More time goes by and we called to check on progress. The tech we spoke with advised the tech who had originally worked on computer no longer worked there and that they were trying to get in touch with him to determine where he may have put the face plate. More time goes by without an update, so we visit again today to be told the same silly story about the tech no longer working there and that they are trying to contact him. That is after the originally polite tech (now annoying) says that the manager doesn't remember seeing a face plate when we brought it in. Are you kidding??? The computer definitely came in with the face plate and they lost it - that simple. Now, they are clearly trying to put it on us to save face. After 2 weeks of supposedly attempting to contact the ex-exployee, you obvisouly are not going to reach him!!! That is asinine to keep saying that they are trying to reach him and expect us to just keep waiting for what comes from that. So, we said we'd like to speak with a manager - who quite frankly should have called us 2 months ago to discuss the situation after hearing how the computer was returned to us - but was told that we can't be given their personal number. Fair enough. Then how about offer another solution that is actually helpful like having your manager contact us???!!! Instead, we had to ask to be contacted by the manager. To this the tech said "we have your number". Does that mean you're going to have the manager call??? What kind of response is that?? Do better. You've had our number for months and no one called when they should have, so that response is useless and came off rude. The tech has no reason to be frustrated with us - we have been much more patient than most would be at this point with everyone involved. So, we will be back when the manager is on-site to get the issue remedied. I anticipate another episode of them walking in the back room for 10 minutes twiddling their thumbs to come out and say the same ridiculous story like the last 3 visits. This has been a headache and we regret coming here. Not only because of the poor service, but also at the lack of professionally handling the situation after being made aware of it. Just own it. You lost the faceplate. You already almost recycled the entire computer to begin with! Make it right! The least that could be done is to actually take it serious and stop giving us the runaround about it. Ridiculous. I would go somewhere else because these are not the kind of people you want working on your items. I don't even believe their story about this ex-employee. They cannot be trusted. Nor can their work. Perhaps they do better with small cellphone fixes that can be done same-day, but not bigger projects...
Read moreREAD THIS BEFORE VISITING THIS STORE:
Just to set the scenario, I had a phone with a broken screen. Went through insurance and was directed to this store as the location to bring my phone for my repair. I live 45 minutes away in Dickson. I made an apointment online for 3PM. Arrive at 3PM and was told that screen repairs can take an hour, but that they were a little behind and it would probably take longer. I was told that it could take 2-3 hours. The store closed at 7PM and I asked if it would be done at least by then, which I was assured it would be. So I decided to spend the day in Clarksville waiting of the repair to be completed.
At 5:30 I hadn't heard anything, so I called the store and was told that my phone "is currently on the desk of the tech who is replacing the glass right now". I was assured that the phone would be ready by the end of the day. At 6:30 I still hadn't heard anything so I decided to drive back to the store, to be available to sign out my phone as soon as the repair was completed. I arrived back to the store at 6:40 PM only to find that the DOOR WAS LOCKED and no employees were in the building. I tried calling, no answer. So now I am without my work phone which is extremely important for my job, and I have no idea what's going on with the status of my repair. At this point I just had to accept that this store screwed me over. My only option was to return home and make a second 45 minute trip back to this store the following day.
Eventually I received a call the following day that my phone was fixed and ready to be picked up. All in all it was about 24 hours turn around from when I dropped my phone off to when it was ready for me to pick up.
I also understand living 45 minutes away from this store makes my situation very different from customers who are more local. But that doesn't change the fact that I was lied to, or that the store closed 20 minutes before the time posted on their front door.
And I would have been okay with the 24-hour turnaround time had the proper expectations been set with me during my initial visit. But as I was misled multiple times during the interactions I've had with this business, it's hard to say what the true answer would be in any circumstance.
Am I saying never visit this place for business? No. What I'm saying is that if you need your phone fixed, and there's any other place to go, you should choose that company over this one. Even if it means driving further, it's worth your time to avoid this store in any way possible.
If you plan on taking your phone here for repair, my advice is to make sure you can go at least 24 hours without your phone before you leave it with this store. And once you drop your phone off, your best bet is to start praying for a quick repair time. Because you have a better chance of hearing back from God before you hear back from the unanswered calls made to this store with a voicemail box that's full.
UPDATE: After more than 24 hours and a second trip back up to this location, I picked up my phone, good as new....is what I wish I could say. But sadly I cannot.
Fingerprints and dust were left on the INSIDE of the camera lenses, and they replaced the frame of my phone with the wrong metal color. Now I have a gold frame when I should have silver.
I've now had to spend another hour on the phone with Samsung support trying to figure out how to fix the incompetence of...
