I never enjoy writing negative reviews but here we go. I called and placed an order for pickup. The person on the phone who took my order was super nice and took my order without issue. I was told it would be 35mins before my order would be ready. I made my way all the way down to the restaurant to be met with a crowd of people. All booths were filled (good for business) and 5 people were in front of me waiting for their pickup. I arrived exactly 35 mins later and was a little surprised but from previous experience, figured I would have to wait a little. After another 45 min wait my food was ready. I was little shocked at the price as what is shown on pictures through google, the menu shows a much different price. I can understand with todays inflation that would be the case, but before I ordered, there was not a true website other than a secondhand one that had old menu pictures. I paid and left the restaurant returning home with the food. This is where the disappointment begins. I ordered the mozzarella triangles and those were ok. I ordered the cheese bread, but that’s being generous given the small amount of cheese and what seemed like bread that had been left under a heat lamp and just dried out. I checked the lasagna and that seemed to be a plate full of cheese, sauce, and oil/grease but very little pasta. The side salad to the lasagna was basically an olive salad with some lettuce. Also, the extra ranch is a dollar per cup. A DOLLAR. The pizza I ordered was so soggy with grease, the crust underneath was peeling away like paper. There was so much grease that it bled through the box. This wasn’t noticed until later and I’m hoping it didn’t get onto my floorboard. I’m super disappointed because in the past this place was the best for local Italian, but seems to have taken a dive. I’d like to be able to blame the fact that they were slammed, but they’re always super busy and the quality doesn’t usually suffer. Better luck next time, Papa Sal’s.

They have a different special every day and night but Saturdays, I believe. I've had the Fetticini Alfredo and Chicken Parmesean served with a side of spaghetti and marinara. The mozzarella was bubbling hot. You get fresh baked bread, a side salad, and a drink for $6.95. You CANNOT beat that for delicious food in this economy. The Fetticini Alfredo has tender pasta and a delicious cheesy sauce. You can not go wrong eating here. Everything is pretty delicious and served fresh and bubbling hot. They've changed their hours and are open much longer than before, so don't miss an opportunity. Friendly service, no matter how busy it is, and sweet tea is just right. I could eat here all the time. My overall impression is a small town atmosphere and delicious food, and it's always made to order.

We just moved to Pinson and have been working on remodeling our house! We needed a place to sit down and eat that was close by so we picked Papa Sal's. What a cool little place to eat and it was delicious. My girlfriend ordered the Chicken Alfredo with a sode salad and bread and I ordered what I thought was a personal size buffalo chicken pizza. When we got our food we were shocked at the portion sizes and the food was delicious. The Pizza was great! A little doughy and not super crispy! My girlfriend loved the Alfredo and the Italian dressing on her salad was so good we bought 16oz of it to take home. Everything tasted fresh and the prices were great. We plan to have many more nights eating at Papa Sal's.

My family happened to be in the area for a ballgame down the street. We found this place online and saw it was a 4⭐. We arrived at 6:30...4 adults and 2 kids...we got our drinks quickly and all ordered by 6:45. Kids spaghetti, kids pizza, kids chicken fingers, 1 calzone, 1 baked ziti & 2 pizzas. After an 1½ we finally got our food. (And they close at 8pm) The quality was horrible...the pizza's and calzone both were a soggy mess. Vegetables in the calzone were not even cooked and extremely salty...kids chicken fingers were actually odd shaped chicken pieces and fried way to long. Spaghetti noodles was watery and sauce super sweet. The ziti was good also sweet and no was bread served. However, the kid's pizza, which was for our youngest member, was actually brought out burnt to a crisp. The entire crust was litetally black...they did remove it from our ticket...but thats beside the point. It was shameful to send food out in this manner....make another! It was only cheese and the size of a saucer. They were not very busy either, many tables available...they did appear to have several to-go orders, (which is great for business) but the house should've been a priority. We should have been advised before ordering the kitchen was seriously backed up and if so we would've definitely went elsewhere...its a school night and ½ the family was almost an hour away from home. Hate giving bad reviews, but this place is definitely not a 4⭐ based on our food and service tonight. I will say our young waitress was good, her hands appeared to be tied. She did apologize over and over. The table was dirty, greasy handprints (we wiped it down ourselves), it was hot inside and needed a good cleaning. Management..no need to respond...your waitress apologized...

Im not the one to do this as i’m a server myself. but tonight was the worst experience i’ve ever had in a restaurant. my food came out and i tried it i debated on even saying anything but this tasted like they poured a half a bottle of lemon juice in it i did send it back all i wanted was for someone to make it right my server took it back to the kitchen and then another server came and brought it back and one again asked what was wrong i stated i order all the time and it never taste like lemon although it might have lemon in it the lemon is never as pronounced as it was tonight. she took it back to the kitchen while rolling her eyes and walking back. THEN the owner then comes out with the same pasta and again i get asked what’s wrong with it and i stated the same thing i stated previously he comes out of the kitchen in his FLIP FLOPS (osha violation) and is just is just as rude as everyone else was. no one ever offers to fix my food the until he’s stating well after the first 2 bites you won’t taste the lemon anymore we’ll excuse me sir i would like to enjoy my food and not just disregard the fact that it taste like a whole lemon. then i ask well is anyone ever going to offer to fix my food? and he said we did when no one ever asked if i wanted anything else just acted like i wanted free food and rolled their eyes. finally they ask me if i want anything else which is all i wanted to begin with and i said “no thank you i just want my check please”. they discounted my check when i was willing to pay full price im not the one to do that and try to get free food i just wanted someone to make things right. they lost my business tonight with the bad attitudes that they...
