First Street Tavern — Restaurant in Clayton

Ok so I got recommendations from two people about your Bloody Mary’s! My husband and I were super excited to try them! We decided to go today! We got there a little after 12 noon. There were three people who had just received drinks and were paying for them. After they paid we just waited for about 3 minutes and the bartender just stood there looking at the computer system. He never acknowledged us. I finally said we had never been there before and asked how we order. The guy behind bar never looked up from computer just said you order here and I’ll be with you when I can. Umm. There was no one else there but us. We waited another minute and decided to leave. Really unique place for lunch! The restaurant is in a house. The room we were in had two tables to choose from. We were given a menu to select our meal and drinks. The order was placed at the bar, and we were given a number for the table. While there is a bar and the food order was placed there, we didn't sit there. It was busy when we arrived. When the food was ready, it was brought to us. The room we were in had a TV with a football game playing. There are additional rooms to choose from, and a game room. Went here to see a child hood friend perform. Stood at the bar for a while. When a group of people walked in for another round of drinks they were immediately served. When I tried to ask a bar tender how their ordering worked I got the one minute finger pointed at me. I asked a person standing by how you order. They replied go to the bar to order. Apparently this lady was the owner. I would have assumed they would have wanted to sell me some food and drinks. The owners help was to send me back to the same line I was already unsuccessful in.
