I rarely leave reviews for food service, I have worked in food my entire life so I am extremely empathetic towards the stressful conditions that come with making food. However, I feel compelled to leave a review tonight about my experience at the Clearfield Utah location this evening.
As I waited in line I noticed that the store was obviously understaffed and pushing through orders as fast as possible. After I ordered, one hot and ready pepperoni pizza, a group of online orders, doordashers, and I waited. I waited about forty or more minutes for my pizza. I really did not mind because I understood how busy everyone was, especially on a Saturday night. Plus, I have already been waiting for so long I am not just going to leave. I ended up being the individual waiting the longest at this point.
Waiting for my one pepperoni pizza, a young woman walks in and asks for a hot and ready pepperoni pizza. One pepperoni ends up available in the box and is given to the woman without hesitation. Shocked, I grabbed the attention of the man working the front of house (Hunter J). I asked him if he just sold her a pepperoni and he said yes. Why on earth would would you give away the pizza, that I have been waiting on patiently, when you know that is what I am waiting on? He explained that pizzas are made to order and that he was not allowed to give that pizza to me because my order was listed to be made... How does this make any sense? I told him that I did exactly what she did forty minutes ago and somehow she ended up walking in and out with a pizza in a matter of seconds. He stated that that is just how it works. Again, this makes no sense. In food, you are taught FIRST IN, FIRST OUT. This not only applies to food but also the people you are serving. You obviously know what I am waiting on, if a pepperoni ends up in the box, it is mine to take and leave with. You make the new person wait like the others did before them. If the pizzas are made to order which is contradictory to what happened, I was the first to order so why am I not being served the pizza first?
I am baffled. I understand that this is Little Ceasar's, which was my first job, but this is comical. I cannot get over how outrageous of an experience this was. Again, I did not mind waiting whatsoever but that sent me over the edge. Please make this make sense to me.
Order: March 19, 20:01:43 PM by Hunter J
(Which does not accurately represent my order, somehow my order was never sent back in the first place so he had to resend it to the back after I had been waiting, this only adds to the story and reiterates that he knew and was reminded of what I had been and continued...
Read moreTotally unimpressed by the service at this location. I got a notice at 7:52 pm that my order was ready. I arrived in the store 15 minutes later to be told: "did you look in the portal?" Ummm duh you just watched me before I asked (and it was empty) Then I was told " it sat for an hour and a half" I said not true I just got the notification. THEN I was told by a little micro person with blue streaks and glasses that they NEVER even got my order. I said oh really, it's paid for here is the order number. She followed up with " we threw that away it expired after 30 minutes" mind you 15 minutes of that time was them making excuses for not having my order. The she said " I can remake it but it will take 10 minutes" Then stared at me like I was supposed to forfeit my order and money. I was told that I had to wait outside all though 3 people had already been in there waiting for 15 minutes and THEY couldn't understand why I was being made to leave. All the while people were walking around the back without masks and playing in the make table without gloves. But they told my wife that they throw pizzas out after 30 minutes for health concerns?? When brought my food 20 minutes later I was simply handed the boxes and the little imp girl very condescendingly said, "have a nice day". I literally buy pizza every Friday from this location but looks like I'll take my orders somewhere where customer service still...
Read moreThis is the first time probably since COVID that I did an order not online rather in person. I went in at 2pm. I ordered slice and stix without pepperoni, 2 litters of soda, and 2 gift cards ($5 and $10). The total was a little higher than expected when I reviewed the receipt and informed them hey there is an extra charge of $7 on my receipt for ebm. The person told me it's $1 more for extra cheese. I didn't want extra cheese and why would it be $7. Turned out they ordered 2 pizzas. An incorrect slice and stix with pepperoni 😣 and an extra cheese pizza? At this point it was already 15-20min asked what they had ready hoping for cheese and cheese sticks at this point. They only had my original order ready. So waited another 15 minutes for my order. When I got home finally no sauce!! 😡 The other issue was the $10 gift card tried to tell me it didn't go through and I said nevermind and he tossed my card. Only to check my account and see it did go through. So now Im out $10.
At this point they seriously should of just gave me the cheese pizza they had ready and cheese sticks rather than waiting. I'm sure this is there first job, but they could of verified the order and made sure it was correct. It was such an uncomplicated order.
I'll never go to this location or in...
