I brought attention to my server maria on the bill showing the number one combination plater for 15.99 but it also showed us being charged 2.99 for chili Verde which she offered this to us when we first ordered the meal. She never said this is an additional charge. I .mentioned to her if she can remove this as a one time Courtney for not having clarity that we would be charged for this. She said she has never had anyone ask for a removal for anything they have ordered. She then left and came back and said it's not something she can do but said I should of known lt was an additional charge which l didn't. She then wanted to argue with me stating we need to make money and also asked what restaurant gives out free items etc etc. I felt at this point she was looking for an argument and not looking to simply resolve this with me as a returning customer. She did say the next time l come in she will simply remind me that anything on the menu is an additional amount on the bill. I didn't appreciate the sarcasm or to be embarrassed infront of my family. Fun fact though there is a questioner on the table mentioning to express you're concerns about the service or food so they can resolve and have you leave with a good experience and leave a Google positive review for them. Well here it is an unresolved issue l brought up to Maria who was willing to want to argue with me on being right rather than making my experience more willing to return back to this restaurant.
I will not be returning since Maria feels it's a matter of being right than looking at her miscommunication in regards to the additional charge to the meal l ordered.
All you have to say is this will be an additional charge are you okay with this. ? And from that point it's my responsibility to want it or not... at least l would know l agreed to the additional amount charged...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAwesome food and a great place to eat it. Their updates have helped a lot. I got the flame grilled burrito with pork and my wife got the Three enchiladas. She always gets that so no need to say more š! I really loved the pork burrito and to be honest it was the best burrito I have had in a long time. I loved the salsa, salad, cheese, guac š„! The salad added a nice crunch to the burrito. In my opinion most of the time the pork is dry and tough. But they got this burrito right! It was tender, easy to cut and had an explosion of flavor. I will definitely go back and get that one again. We did bring our two year old and he just ate off our plates. So thank you for the extra plate so we could share. We got there around 6 and left around 645 on a Saturday night. I believe that was great for a Saturday evening, and that included waiting 10 minutes for a table. We got in and gave our order, and had some salsa and chips while we waited. There is plenty of parking. But you will normally find a spot in the back or street side. The front parking is usually full. Our waiter did a great job and was quick with our order and adhered to all of our requests. However I do want to mention that he seemed pretty annoyed with our request for an extra water and plate for our two year old. He just seemed put off by it. Bad day maybe š¤? Anyways we still appreciated the service and will be returning so my wife can get the Three enchiladas š. So we went another day, the waiter did a great job. Guess what my wife ordered?š The three enchiladasš. I got the pork chimicanga. Great stuff, well cooked with a crisp tortilla and flavorful pork. You can see it, it is the 23rd...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI started receiving promotional text messages from Manuelās El Burrito about two years ago for no reason. At first I thought it was weird and brushed it off, I have now realized that these messages were actually a call to visit Manuelās el burrito. Over the course of two years I have received probably 50+ unsolicited text messages from the restaurant. They are always happy, funny, and include good promotions.
Finally after so many messages I decided it was time to try this restaurant. I live over an hour away so I knew it would be a journey to try the food. Me and some good friends set out on an hour and a half train ride and eventually arrived at a train station close to Manuelās el burrito, we then made the rest of the journey by foot.
We then arrived at the restaurant. The outside is friendly and fun looking and as we entered we felt a feeling of welcoming. We then were led to our seats and we were promptly taken care of. The service was amazing! Itās been about a month since this trip so I forgot our servers name but she was very friendly and personable. We ordered our food and the wait was not long at all, I believe I got some sort of loaded burrito and it was delicious. In addition to this, the prices were very reasonable.
After we were done with our food we paid and made our way back home. Itās safe to say that Manuelās is a must try and was worth the journey. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good and...
