What an awful experience from beginning to end. The food pictured is supposed to be $13 worth of food apparently (keep in mind I didn't order a drink). 😶 I sat in the drive thru for about ten minutes and there was only one car in front of me. Yet somehow my chicken was ice cold, so apparently I wasn't waiting around all that time for hot, fresh food. I questioned the prices because I don't remember it being so high last time I went to Chicken E and the employee was quite full of attitude when he responded and made sure to tell me that the prices aren't his fault in an extremely rude tone. He had offered me a side of ranch with my poppers when he took my order on the speaker, but it was not in the box he gave me. I requested no gravy on the mashed potatoes and clearly as pictured received gravy. That kid probably needs to go work somewhere where he isn't face to face offering customer service each day, because he was quite rude. His name was Issac I believe as that is what my receipt said. I will not be returning to this Chicken E and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless they can get their staff on board with better customer service and preferably better food. I remember loving every single thing on the menu back in the day, but I threw half of my overpriced meal in the trash because it was not even a little tasty. I put in my time working at a Chicken Express for four years when I was a teenager, so I do know first-hand that this job isn't difficult. Asking for them to do a remake. The manager Ashlynn proceeds to tell me She can only remake the spicy tenders basically to leave the fries, mashed potatoes, I explained I would like a remake on the food. I was shorted on my order, called and spoke with MOD, explained what had happened, asked for a refund and said I couldn't come back tonight and was told I could not get a refund for the item I was shorted without bringing the full order back. My family had already eaten half of it so I couldn't bring back the entire thing so I was told there was nothing they could do for me. I asked to speak with the next supervisor and was told the only person over them was the owner and they cant give out that information. Not to mention my food was ice cold. I will NEVER be back. Chicken Express stole from me in my eyes. I encourage you to try any other Chicken spot in town. There are plenty to choose from. I assure you Chicken E will never get money out of me again.
