Winston Patrick McGregor Park — Attraction in Cleburne

Well I was there to remember a dear friend who passed a few weeks ago. It would've been a little easier on her children had the hall been opened on time but things happen and that's understandable. But in general, the past couple weeks the weather has been lovely. Therefore you'd think with all the people Johnson County has at it's disposal ,doing community service,that the park would've been cleaned up allot better by now. Although I must say that the tulips are beautiful. I have a rake if you need to borrow one and I'm not on community service but if you need a little help, I will see if I can get a ride...

Always beautiful and well kept. Actually see the groundskeepers truck there almost every time we show up! No trash, no glass on the grass or anything, however I would be careful in flip flops because occasionally there's a very tiny piece of glass mixed in with gravel on the pathways... It is such a shame that the City of Cleburne has allowed this beautiful oasis to deteriorate into another cold and sterile, lifeless park. There is nowhere in the city that people can interact with plants and nature. This place was once beautiful and vibrant. This park needs to be revitalized. City council needs to get their priorities straight and start investing...
