Unfortunately this is not the first time that we have had a bad experience here. Today however was pretty inexcusable. We came just after 6:00, there was a line at the drive through, so we walked up to the window instead. After over 10 minutes we noticed that nobody had come to the window by us or on the drive through side, and all of the cars that were in line had driven off.
We knocked on the window, then after another couple of minutes we peered into the window we saw that there was no one inside.
All of the open signs were on, the music was playing full blast, all of the lights were on, no indication of the location being closed. As we drove away we passed the drive through window and we saw a single, poorly handwritten sign on the drive through window that said “ be right back “. They couldn’t even be bothered to put a note on the walk up side. From the time that we pulled up at 6:03 until we left the parking lot was 6:26, and no staff was there.
The only reason this place doesn’t get a 1 star is because they have a lot of flavor options, but past that, this is the worst snow cone location in Johnson...
Read moreI normally don’t write reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. My wife ordered a shaved ice and discovered a bunch of ants inside her Shaved Ice. Naturally, that ruined it for all of us — once you see that, you don’t want to eat anything else from there. We had already spent $28, and none of us even wanted to touch our shaved ice after that.
What made it worse was the staff’s attitude. There was no apology, no “sorry,” no sense of concern at all. They acted like it didn’t matter, and that lack of basic customer service was just as disappointing as the ants themselves.
Between the unsanitary Shaved Ice and the complete disregard from the employees, this was a terrible experience. Definitely won’t be coming back, and I’d warn others to think twice before...
Read moreI try and give the benefit of doubt to a business. If I go there once and the service is unfriendly I try again. I do however have a 3 strike rule. I have been to this establishment 3 times. Each time the service has been sub par and rude. Today was the worst. The server aggressively shoved the snowcone so fast and assertively that the top of the snowcone flew off into my daughter's lap,and all over the car seat. The person did not so much as apologize and closed her window. Supporting small businesses is important, however the small business should also strive to give the best service possible.
