Montes Breakfast Burritos — Restaurant in Cleburne

Updated 10/25/2024. I called in today for a pick up. I placed my order for a burrito and they offered to redo my last order. Went to pick up my order, the wait was not too long. Service was not too bad today, hopefully they can keep on getting better. What I noticed today was the drive thru line was really long, hopefully that can be worked on so customera can be in and out with their orders.

I went and delete my old review and stars ⭐. I've always been a fan of Montes, but ever since the renovation. It has not been the same. Burritos 🌯 are not the same size and quality wise. Not to mention the price $$ went up, which I figured was going to happen. My last visit was not so great I usually call my order in, which they will say that will be about 15 mins. Gave them 20 mins got there and still had to wait another 30 mins. The line there was crazy long and when I finally got my order and rushed back to the office. The burrito which I ordered the potatoes 🥔 was still raw and barley any steak 🥩 in it. SMH like I said a lot has changed with them, but I think they need to step it up. Updates: Yes I review on Google because that’s the only way change happens. I want to love this place so bad but y’all have to stop with the cold burrito. I ate it immediately because I was starving and it was so cold not to mention barely any food in the big tortilla. It should be a taco. These are breakfast burritos. I can speak on anything else here. Update : I generally love this place for the convenience of the drive thru. I don’t mind waiting because I know it’s popular and people should understand that however yes the burritos are small and ever single time I order a Chorizo and egg they give me regular sausage. I don’t know if it’s because i am white ? If I ask for Chorizo that’s what I should get. One time I went and actually got greasy yummy chorizo like I ordered. I was so happy. but I came today and not only was my entire burrito cold I was again served regular breakfast sausage. I understand it’s 1 pm but atleast heat it up and give me chorizo. Great food, fresh, homemade. People are so nice. You most likely will have to wait because the food is outstanding a lot of people will be there. They should get a larger area. We did drive through. The next time we will park in lot next to them & go to window. We had potatoes and Alvacodo burrito. The tortilla was fresh, not to thin or to thick, melted in your mouth. They are really quick with filling orders. We were in shock at the sheer volume of people and how fast and correct our order was. Only reason not 5 star is people were waiting in line on main street. This place looked like a shed but, the food came out tasting like a 5 star restaurant. Don't be fooled. Like my mom said little restaurant are the best places to eat because they care about the people, food is not franchise it fresh & the cost is low but, their food is top rate to keep you coming back... yes we will be going back so.
