I’ve always loved this Subway for how fast and efficient they are. Plus, the workers are usually so kind.
Today, I had the worst experience. I was going inside to pick up a mobile order for my husband and daughter but the two guys working were busy with a line which is totally fine. I sat and waited for my order to be put out in the cafe. When the line died down, I stood up to ask about my order (which was predicted to be done around 1, it was 1:15 at this point) and they both walked to the back without even attempting to talk to me. I could see that my order was sitting on the back counter ready, but hadn’t been put out on the mobile order pickup. I waited at the register for one of them to notice me, and they, multiple times, made eye contact with me but continued talking to each other without coming up to greet me. I waited at the front counter for over 10 mins and more customers came in and formed a line waiting for them to come help us. Eventually, one of the customers in the cafe called the store and they answered the phone from the back. He said “we’re all waiting for you up here!” and one of the boys eventually came up after another couple minutes of talking. I got my mobile order around 1:25pm.
It was truly the worst service I’ve ever had anywhere. I’ve worked in food service for over 5 years so I understand needing a break but I can’t justify how bad these boys were at their job. One had brown hair and the other was blonde. The subs were completely fine and made correctly, but definitely wasn’t worth the service. I’m posting this not to discourage anyone from eating here, but rather because I believe management needs to be working with these kids more to make sure they’re at least halfway...
Read moreI've been a fan of subway for many years, and still enjoy their sandwiches. However my recent experience with their app and refusal to credit my account for an order I never received has me rethinking my opinion of the brand.
Long story short, I purchased and paid for my order using the subway app. The confirmation email stated my order would be ready at 7:20. I arrived at the store by 7:15, and the door was locked. I flagged down an employee who told me they closed at 7 and he "didn't accept my order."
I was irritated but understand things are crazy with the pandemic rules. I assumed my card wouldn't be charged. I was wrong. It was charged.
No worries... I'll just dispute it with my card and I'm sure they will take care of it. Wrong again. PayPal told me they contacted the merchant and the dispute was "not decided in my favor". I appealed with as much detail as possible... Again subway refused to give me a refund for an order I paid for and never received. I'm on my second appeal but I'm not holding much hope for a positive outcome.
They don't value customers very much if they are willing to lose them...
Read moreToday I went in to order a sandwich, the cashier wanted to charge me before I had completed my order. I proceeded to go ahead and pay for my food. When my sandwich came out of the oven, I asked for Avocado in which I was told that they up charge for it. I told them I had no idea, but I was happy to pay for it. They proceeded to be pretty rude that they had to do more work because they did not know what I was going to be putting on my sandwich. They didn’t charge me for just avocado, but instead charged me more (3 dollars). I asked for a receipt And it said they charged me for something completely different. At this point, I left because the atmosphere was so hostile. You can’t simply get mad at a customer for not knowing what you charge to be put on the sandwich. Instead of making me pay before my sandwich was done, They could have simply waited, and all of this would be avoided. That being said paying $18 total For a sandwich and chips only to be met with rude service is the reason that Subway needs...
